Leonie and her team run it really well. This was our second stay there and it was every bit as good as our first stay. The house is lovely. Our room was great. The garden is meticulously kept. The security is excellent. We love staying there.

Braai facilities are available, but no braai tongs. Unit was nice and tidy but needs repairs. Air cooler available but had to ask for remote control. Leonie was friendly but made us feel uncomfortable with comments about guests leaving the air conditioner on all night, that's why they took the remote control away. If they have a problem with guests using amenities, remove them instead. We smoked outside every time, but still Leonie felt it was necessary to remind us again to please. to smoke outside. Nice and comfortable, but wouldn't be our first choice.
Not ideal for a tranquil, private, and peaceful stay in ground floor rooms 1 and 2. There is no separation between the lounge and bedrooms.

I was there for business purposes. It was very clean and peaceful. There was a delicious cup of coffee waiting for me at the guest house after a long day on the road. The owner was very nice. Would have liked the owner to have been there when I arrived. Waited about 20 min for someone to open and called a few times. If I could contribute my two cents about the amenities. The shower also took about 10 minutes to warm up in the room I was in and the bath didn't have a stopper which I understand is due to water shortages. Would have liked hot water instead of wondering if I turned the faucet on correctly. Maybe there is a message on the wall referring to the problem with the shower. Furthermore, I slept peacefully and in a comfortable bed.
We felt very welcome and were treated very well. Really a good choice during our return trip after the holidays.
We have visited here 3 times. The guest house has the most wonderful French atmosphere. The hostess made us feel more than welcome with her kindness. The breakfast was deliciously prepared every morning and there were always freshly baked croissants or cookies. Thank you very much we had a wonderful stay here. Recommendations : Rubbish bin in the room not just by the toilet. "Do not disturb" or "don't clean my room" signs to put on the outside of the door.

A suggestion: maybe a chair in the room and towel rails or heels in the bathroom.
We were received friendly and personally by the hostess. Although we were late, she helped us find a place to eat and the recommendation was great. The room and bathroom were comfortable, clean and met all our requirements. The whole setup is neat and user-friendly. The breakfast was of 5 star quality and once again the service was excellent. We will definitely use their services again and would highly recommend Villa Petit.
