The town is nestled amongst infinite fields of sugar cane, KwaZulu-Natal’s famous Green Gold, and flanked by golden beaches and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
The 4-bedroom, double storey house can accommodate 8 guests and offers direct access to a private, safe swimming beach. The bedrooms are all located downstairs and there are 2 bedrooms furnished with a double bed consisting of twin beds pushed together, while 2 of the bedrooms contain twin single beds. The separate shared bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. The shower is separate for all to share.
The open-plan living area and kitchen are located upstairs. The kitchen which is fully equipped to cater to guests' self-catering needs. The lounge features comfortable seating and a TV while dining area has a 10-seater table.
Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms on the ground level. Die dining area has remote operated ceiling fans.
Guests can cool down in the swimming pool or enjoy a swim on the private beach nearby.
It is not suited for very young children and older guests because of steep stairs from the garage to the house and from the house to the private beach.
Please note that beach towels are not provided.

11 guests' feedbackInterior and exterior furniture needs replacement. Also needs more than 1 shower for 4 bedrooms. Braai facilities also need to be updated. Blinds in the whole house needs urgent replacement.
The location is perfect, rooms well made but the place was not clean. Renovations is definitely a must, inside and outside. i.e. lounge furniture. i.e. garden service - upgrade is required.
Apart from all the steps which is a good workout, we had the most amazing time! Loved every minute and will be back!

We had a wonderful time. It was very quiet and everything was very clean and tidy.
Beautiful place, perfect location. The only problem we had was with the water supply. 1 or 2 mornings there was no water, and half of the group had to bath in cold water. Other than that I'd definitely recommend it, it's the perfect getaway with the girls.
We had a nice time. Got a lot of practice with all the stairs, but we needed it. I will stay there again, maybe visit a little longer. Love all the books in the house, we enjoyed reading. It was very homely!

Isaac The Helper was great . The kitchen needs a massive makeover cutlery , glasses , pots and pans The kettle did not work The tumble dryer did not work Cupboards and units that is locked with massive locks doesn’t look good and doesn’t feel like a holiday home (guessing that’s what it’s supposed to feel like ) The blinds was not the best two fell off when we closed them. The bannister on top was tied with cable ties unsafe for kids or anyone The bbq’s needs fixing with proper grills I had to go purchase one myself. Lekkerslaap compeny was great to deal with and it’s a shame for me to write this but I planed this holiday for me and my family who I not seen for 9 years and it was ok and not great. So from your part thank you for your organisation and to Isaac he was fantastic

House rules
A daily cleaning service must be arranged directly with the owner at least 2 days before the check-in date. This includes the making of beds, washing of dishes, cleaning of bathrooms, and so on.This will cost extra and will only be confirmed when the owner receives the payment via EFT in advance. Cash will not be accepted.
Please note that the garage is not suitable for large vehicles such as minibuses, double cab vans and large utility vehicles. Guests should inquire before booking to find out if their vehicle will fit. There is only parking for 2 vehicles.
