The villa is less than a 10-minute drive from the amenities offered by the village of Clarens.
Lesotho which is a 40-minute drive away to the nearest border post, and winter skiing is approximately 2 hours away. A trip into Lesotho for a day or more, offers different experiences in both summer or winter. Bring a passport and unabridged birth certificates, for children under 18.

Very nice house, very neat and very quiet. Nice big stoep with a nice braai.
We had a great stay, little things like a plug near a mirror would help and a corkscrew. We will definitely visit again and the view is very nice.

Villa Vista Bonita 63 is a beautiful, very comfortable house with an incredibly beautiful view! The house was spotless and tidy, except inside the shelves and drawers of the bedroom wardrobes where it was dusty. We would love to stay here again.

I absolutely love the place. It was clean and neat. The beds are so comfortable. I will definitely come back. The kids really enjoyed themselves playing around the braai area.
Our stay was pleasant. Everything very clean and tidy. We didn't know there was no roof or garage and that we had to carry all our luggage up and down on stilts. I only think of the elderly and maybe the disabled. Landlords must please inform us if there are builders who are making noise, cutting and drilling right next to the house all day. We didn't know about it beforehand and it was really disturbing given the fact that we wanted to use the week to isolate ourselves from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, we are grateful for the scenery and the unit that met all our needs. Biddy and Yzelle were of great help!

It would be great if there was backup to the wifi during load shedding. There has obviously been a leak of some sort in the main bedroom — a repaint of the wall would be good. Some attention could also be paid to how the curtains fit and hang and I know that we are trying to reduce water consumption but the water flow out of the shower roses is very low. Maybe the roses are blocked?
Very comfortable house. Plenty of Space. Rooms were great. Beautiful View. Would definitely go there again. Very safe. Close to the shops.
However, note that there is currently construction going on next to the property, which is currently affecting our review. The lady who handles the rental is great as we had power issues and she was able to save the situation even though it was 19h00 in the evening.
Very comfortable home. Gas fireplace and underfloor heating was a winner in the winter!
There is a comments book there but it appears as if the comments either aren't read or ignored. A towel per person for 4 days is not enough. No spare black bags for rubbish. Had to buy toilet paper. Candles but no matches. Some decent wine glasses, please. Both gas bottles were empty. The above is just some constructive suggestions. Otherwise, a wonderful stay, a beautiful view, etc.
Lovely unit, everything you need. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen, it might be because they are building another unit next door.

The view was fantastic! You can't get better. The villa was incredibly clean and tidy. Will definitely book again. All that was missing was a swimming pool but the surrounding activities made up for it.

Villa Vesta is 5 km from town activities. So very quiet and peaceful environment. Just nice to be able to rest after shopping.

Clarens Booking should be better with where to download the key after the time. On their email they say they drop it in the box next to Posthouse Restaurant, get there, no box and the office has moved. On their email signature it says it's shop 9, 720 Main street.
Very well equipped house in perfect location. Basic maintenance will make it the perfect place for a getaway. Gas fireplace causing a lot of smoke in the house was the biggest problem over a very cold Easter weekend in Clarens. We will return again.
No customer service at all, we didn't get a call about if we were enjoying our stay or not. But overall, the house was very clean.
We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. It was nice for us to stay there. The house is spacious with two full bathrooms making it very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the master bedroom and didn't feel unsafe for a moment. The only downside is that there is no shelter for your vehicle. This unit only has a small area at the top of the street to park and I don't know how you can fit two vehicles in such an area. Furthermore, the stay was very nice, we really enjoyed the tranquility of the estate.
Biddy, thank you so much for allowing us to spend a magical weekend in Clarens. You were so helpful and arranged everything for me, so we arrived and were allowed into the golf estate with no issues. The house is beautiful, everything is so clean, well looked after. The view is incredible and so so peaceful. I can't wait to come back.

Very neat, has all the necessary things. Was very clean, all that was bad was that the parking is a bit far from the house.
Great stay! It was beautifully clean with a nice view. The house is well laid out with nice rooms and bathrooms. The stoep was the winner! Delicious visits with a beautiful view will be remembered for a long time. The unit is close to town and we were able to walk in safety and enjoy the outdoors.
There are only mirrors in the bathrooms and not in the bedrooms. Would be a bit more comfortable if there was a mirror in the bedrooms too, especially for putting on make-up and blow-drying hair.

Needs basic maintenance, e.g. light bulbs that don't work and need a good shower cleaning. Otherwise very nice, will visit again!
The only issue was that the gas fireplace ran out of gas and the electric blankets that were advertised were not on the beds.
Main bedroom not cleaned and linen not changed. Old soiled linen left in a pile on the bed in the main bedroom. Duvet and blanket dirty and stained. Bathroom not cleaned. Towels not replaced. Old wet dirty towels left by other guests left folded on bench. Fridge not cleaned - old items from previous guests left in fridge. Bin not cleaned - old items left in bin. No hand towels. Lounge only seats three. Clean towels left in bedroom were used by the kids, but taken away and kids had no towels for morning shower.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Vista Bonita 63 and will definitely book here again. The unit is well equipped with all that is needed and more. Very clean and exact to the pictures online. Beautiful views from the deck, a stone throw away from the centre of town and 20 minutes to Golden gate national park. Only suggestion would be a carport for the very hot summer days.
The stay was excellent. Everything was very neat, clean and the house is very well equipped. Attention is paid to small things that are usually overlooked in accommodation. The location of the house is very good - not far from the town and although you find yourself among other houses, the area is very quiet with a beautiful view. We would definitely recommend Villa Vista Bonita and make an effort to stay there again.
The built-in gas fire was out of gas. The backup heater was well stocked. Broke a wine glass accidentally and offered to pay for the breakage when returning the keys. The owner said it's okay, no need to pay. Thank you.
Neat two-bedroom unit. Lovely spacious veranda with a view of the village. Unfortunately no garage / carport, so the vehicles are exposed to the weather. Unit is well equipped and we stayed nice. Will definitely go again.

My fellow guests and I cannot in good conscious recommend the stay at Villa Vista Bonita 63, not because of the accommodation, but because of the management thereof. The check-in and check-out service or non service was done so unprofessionally that we will do everything in our power to avoid the experience in the future. We were only in Clarens for 24h and we were expected to drive into and out of town to the Golf Estate our selves to check ourselves in and out. When I asked why the lady told me she did not have a car, but then arrived shortly after. She had a bad attitude and no guest has time for this. I do not know what her name was because she didn't introduce herself she just started with her rant about the inconvenience done to her. This was a young 20-something blond individual that called herself the manager.
We had a lovely and comfortable stay. The view is fantastic and the cottage has everything you need. Can't wait to go in the winter to use the underfloor heating and fireplace. Very neat and close to town but feels like you are far away.
Villa Vista Bonita 63 is tops. It's our second time staying here and will definitely go back again!
It was really nice - everything is there that one might need. I would just really warn people that you have to climb many steps down to the house, located at a reasonable slope and will not be ideal for elderly people or people who are not quite mobile. Disappointed that there is no carport.

We arrived in Clarens on Saturday 11 May and departed on Monday morning, 13 May. The house is very neat and clean, with a beautiful view of the golf course and mountains. We enjoyed sitting on the large patio with a built-in braai. Furthermore we stayed and slept very well. The beds are excellent. We will definitely visit the house again and also recommend for accommodation.

It's very convenient to communicate by phone or computer. The house is excellently built. All that is needed is air conditioning, as Clarens is in a very warm area. A carport for a car would also be more convenient because it is very hot. There is space for it and easily accessible from the lower street. The facilities offered by the house are clean and very tidy.
Even though we only stayed 1 night we wished we could stay longer. Very neat and the house has everything and more you might need. Really a home away from home. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you, Heather, for you friendliness.
