Vista 70 Clarens is a comfortable self-catering holiday home all the essential elements for a comfortable stay for up to 4 people.
There are 2 bedrooms fitted with wall-to-wall carpeting. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a bath and shower. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, TV, and ample built-in cupboard space for a longer stay, if required. It has views of the Golf Estate and looks over the valley into Clarens. The second bedroom has twin beds with views north of Mt Horeb and also plenty of cupboard space. Linen and towels are provided. All beds are fitted with electric blankets.
The living area of the house is especially welcoming and pleasing to the eye. From the front door, one enters a spacious lounge, complete with comfortable furnishings, a built-in gas heated fireplace, and under-carpet heating. A flat-screen TV with Premium DStv channels and WiFi is provided. Adjacent to the lounge in the living space is a tiled dining room with table and chairs.
A modern well equipped self-catering kitchen with granite countertops lies adjacent to the lounge and dining area. It is fitted with hob and under-counter oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and other appliances. Complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities are also provided.
Leading out from both the dining room and lounge, there are two sets of patio sliding doors that open onto the raised patio complete with patio furniture, table and chairs for al-fresco dining and relaxation. The patio has views through shaded blue gums towards the town of Clarens, over the golf estate. A gas braai built-in on the patio is a given for outside entertainment.
The house is set below the road, with parking for 2 vehicles on the paved uncovered parking area and the grass verge above to the house. A set of stairs leads guests to the front door.

The house is comfortably furnished and has everything needed. We enjoy it every time.
What an incredible place. We arrived in the dark on the Friday evening and were welcomed with lights on ready for our visit. The inviting, nice big porch was our highlight. After a busy day in Clarens, you just look forward to relaxing on the stoep! The unit was incredibly well equipped.
Brilliant, clean, comfortable and everything worked. Better than the pictures. Only issue was we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy 4 more rolls. A knife sharpener would be great as well as they were all blunt for the braai meat we had.
One of the best outings to usher the new year. To the host Garvin, thanks for being available to help and advise.

We were looking for a place where we could be peaceful and found it at Vista 70. Well equipped with everything one can think of. The lovely large porch is not shown well in the photo, but everything else is exactly as in the photos. A beautiful little Christmas tree was very special to us. Thanks to Lynne & Gavin for that.
Gas fire doesn't warm room at all. Underfloor heating in bedroom was awesome.

Vista 70 is definitely one of our favorite places to live in Clarens. It's clean, modern, safe and close to the town and attractions and nice and quiet. Vista70 has everything you need.
For me, a good place should have a view and a porch. And that's why I love the unit. It's well furnished and tidy. I would like to come and test the fireplace in the winter.

Vista70@Clarens is securely located in the golf estate. The unit is fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Tasteful and neat. Highly recommend.
Beautiful view of the mountains. Balcony on which to relax, just wish there were 3/4 beds in the one bedroom and not single, but other than that, everything was perfect and all our needs catered to.
The unit as a whole was lovely but we need the owner to be aware of the following: - the unit has fish moths so when we got home we had to wash all our clothing. - the oven needs a proper clean and it does not close properly.
From arrival to departure everything was arranged and ready. Clean and tidy. Nice view. Home away from home. Will definitely stay there again.
Very neat unit of the correct quality standard we expect when we travel. Has everything one could think of needing for a self-catering cottage or house. The gas fire in the lounge and electric blankets will also make winter visits a pleasure. Its location in the Clarens Gold Estate offers safety and atmosphere. Neat as a pin, good quality standard, peaceful, everything great.
Vista70 was so homely upon entering, everything was clean, tidy and in their place. Had a great time in Clarens and nice place to stay, contributed a lot to that. A bit bad to have to evacuate by 10am on a Sunday.
Vista 70 is the perfect place to stay. Als is clean, well maintained and nicely laid out. It has the most beautiful view and nice gas fireplace. The only negative is that the outdoor barbecue is also gas and we couldn't get the smell of coals, but we still had a good barbecue. We would go back again anytime!

The following are problems experienced: No salt and pepper. No champagne glasses. LP gas system not sufficient to keep the gas fireplace and fireplace working simultaneously. The fireplace starts to burn and over time the flames are getting smaller and smaller.
Wonderful and beautiful place to stay. I will suggest it to anyone who wants to stay in Clarens. Add WiFi and there won't be a better place in Clarens.

We had a wonderful stay at Vista70@Clarens. Everything was well organised and the accommodation is beautiful and well equipped.
We were 2 couples, so the rooms that each have their own bathroom were ideal.
Very neat, safe, luxurious accommodation. Value for money and very peaceful. Ideal for weekend getaways.

We were incredibly surprised by how neat and complete the accommodation was. The residence is in perfect condition and very luxurious. The one problem that usually comes up with rental accommodation is the comfort of the beds. We experienced no such problem. The bed was incredibly comfortable. 2 Negative points. We were not at all happy with the parking. We would have liked to park under the house but there was no way to get there. 2nd point was the gas fired fireplace ran out of gas the first night. Then the next night worked again for 10 min before the fireplace died again. I assumed the management would be watching the gas levels. Was wrong. Furthermore, I will definitely recommend the unit to friends and family.
We definitely found our go to place in Clarens. The house was very clean and neat and had absolutely everything one could think of. Something that stood out was the bedding that smelled really nice. Would definitely recommend this place!
We were impressed with the most beautiful little house we stayed in. The electric blankets were definitely necessary during the cold autumn nights. Thanks for that. It would help if there were instructions for the gas fireplace as well as the gas braai outside. The house is further equipped with everything you need. It was a wonderful 3 days in Clarens.
We really enjoyed the three nights and it was wonderful to see the towns lights at night. It was close to GoldenGate and the town. Will definitely sleep there again.

We had a pleasant stay in this unit. It was clean, comfortable and the golf estate had great walks, views and space. Close to all the restaurants and shops in Clarens but more relaxed than being in town. We will use it again.
One of the neatest, most beautiful places we've ever stayed, there's only one thing missing: air conditioning. But it's beautiful inside and out with the most beautiful view!

It was very cold, but it was a very neat and warm house, with everything needed for a warm, peaceful stay.
Very comfortable accommodation - neat, clean, with a beautiful view and with a lovely meeting area on the large deck. Definitely recommend and would stay there again myself.

The reason for our and friends' stay was to explore the village again, to visit the Golden Gate Park again, and to drive to Katse Dam. It was a lovely weekend with snow in Lesotho and all. We were pleasantly surprised to stay in this beautiful house; with lovely large bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living area. The house has a peaceful atmosphere and the heated floors are a bonus!
Peaceful, heavenly and luxurious. Will definitely stay there again. (However, it would be great to be able to make a fire for barbecue.)

It had been unbelievably cold in Clarens and the house was luxuriously equipped with underfloor heating, a fireplace and warm linen which made it a cozy holiday home. Beautiful vistas from the balcony and porch over Clarens and the picturesque mountains around...
Very pleasant and all home contents of high quality! The dishwasher had no soap, there was no dish towel/sponge to wash dishes with.
