21 guests' feedbackWe really enjoyed our holiday in Gourits by Vitamine See, quiet, private and peaceful close to the mouth and the beach for good fishing and relaxation. The sea is visible at all times and just a few 100m walk across the beach. We also really enjoyed the braai place and porch with a nice lawn where children could kick a ball and play.
Enjoy! Will definitely visit again.
We thoroughly enjoyed it, just like last year! December 2024 we are there again!
Vitamin C was a special destination, really neat, and being right in front of the sea was so convenient, a walk over the dunes, picking up shells, and hearing the waves at all times. The owners were always just a Whatsapp away, very friendly. We accidentally locked the spare room and it was sorted out immediately. One of our most peaceful and quiet getaways we've ever had.
Lovely, clean apartment with everything one needs.
Very close to the sea with an excellent location. There is good WiFi, but it is not included. There is a dishwasher but no soap. You are still expected to wash, dry and do all the dishes despite cleaning fee. There were dirty plates in the cupboard from previous guests.

Top quality appliances, crockery and cutlery and very well kitted out. Beach front/lagoon mouth property, great views and wonderful wildlife in the lagoon i.e. tortoises, scrub hare, mongoose, francolin and guinea fowl. Norma is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be paying another visit. Taking one's own bath towels is a bit of a nuisance however the top-class experience and facilities make up for that.

The place has everything needed and of good quality. It was very nice and clean and the nature is so unspoiled that animals and birds can be seen everywhere. The beds slept well and were clean. There is no WiFi and we took our own DStv with us. If you want to be on your phone all the time and/or want to watch TV, this is not the right place for you. If you can appreciate the natural beauty and silence, this is the very best place!

Me, my wife and our little daughter went for four days to stretch out at Vitamine See in Gouritzmond, my only disappointment of the time was that we didn't visit longer. The apartment itself is excellently laid out with a breathtaking view of the beach from your private braai area. It is also from the braai area where you only have to walk a few steps then you are between the dunes with the choice of whether you would rather lie on the beach or whether you would rather relax in the lagoon. The apartment is fully equipped and we really lacked nothing, the finishes and the kitchen equipment are of the highest quality which ensures that you only have to pack your clothes and your food with peace of mind. Freddy and Charné really made us feel at home from the start. Freddy made sure to contact us before we left for Gouritz to introduce himself and ensure you knew what was available in town and what to expect. To top it all off, we brought home some of the best coffee from MyBrew Coffee, Freddy and Charné's own roastery in Stellenbosch. I can advise anyone with an open heart to visit Vitamine See, we will definitely visit again soon.
Very private apartment, close to the beach. Hosts are warm, caring and helpful. They don't interfere, although in the same building. One's privacy is respected and they are open to suggestions that will enhance one's stay and experience.
