Môreson Branderhuis is within walking distance from the beach. It is a double storey house with a spacious open plan kitchen and living area. The sliding door opens to a large patio with lovely braai (BBQ) facilities and a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. DStv is available. The top floor consists of a bedroom equipped with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The bottom floor consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with a single bed, and a bathroom (shower and toilet). The house accommodates 6 guests maximum.

Vlees Bay is a tranquil seaside village on the Southern Cape Coast of South Africa with scenic views of the beach and bay. The ocean is safe for swimming and surfing. It is the perfect getaway for city dwellers in need of relaxation. A hiking trail on the rocks and long walks on the lovely beach soothes the soul and revitalizes the spirit. Fransmashoek Nature Reserve is just a few kilometers from Vleesbaai and is accessible via a gravel road.

Vlees Bay is known for its rocky coast leading to Fransmanshoek and its open, sandy beach in the direction of Boggomsbaai. The area also boasts a number of excellent fishing spots.

Vlees Bay is mainly a family beach. Basic groceries, meat and some beach accessories are available at a little shop. Church services are held in the church hall. Vlees Bay is fenced and access is controlled via a security gate. Visitor parking is very limited. Pedestrians not residing in Vleesbaai have free access to the beach via the security gate.
