8 guests' feedbackWell small negative, the kitchen/restaurant is no longer in operation (aftermath of Covid). Volksrust Guest House did issue a refund for breakfast. The normal challenges with load shedding as well as good rain showers were fully accepted on the evening of arrival, but one handles the situation to the best of circumstances.
Well located, everything needed for a rugby tour visit. Nice breakfast.
We can definitely recommend the guest house. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and breakfast was very tasty with large portions. There were bottles of water in our room every day and more than enough milk for coffee and tea! It's located in a quiet area, but very central. All that bothers is that the parking is a problem if the guest house is full. The vehicles park each other so that everyone can park on the premises. Daniel is a great asset to the place!
Location is good. Dining area not up to standard. Rooms very clean and neat. Bathroom way too small (small cubicle). Breakfast very basic.
Both rooms' TV's didn't work. When opening the room doors, cabels fell down heavily. Rooms were nice and neat and clean. Nobody welcomes you. Your room is unlocked and that's that.
Location very good and the accommodation was good.
A very neat and comfortable facility.
Best guest house I have booked myself into. The rooms just need tiles or wooden floors, and I feel the kitchen should have normal menus instead of the waiter telling you what's on the menu for the day. Otherwise, a lovely place I would return to if in Volkrust again.
