We had a wonderful stay, very neat and clean, and the host was very friendly and very helpful. The parking was just a bit tight. We will definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it.

It was very easy to get to the accommodation and the area/location was fantastic for our weekend. We struggled a bit and were worried about our Amarok bakkie that was parked inside the premises, although we were very grateful that we could park the bakkie safely inside the yard. The drive in and out was difficult. It was very convenient that there was an inverter so we could still have power. The rooms were clean and pleasant and we slept very well.
Had a great time. Was clean and tidy, also very quiet. Could rest well. Is a very nice and comfortable place. Will visit again. Thank you very much.

Vriesenhof is a winner.
Stay was nice, it's private and clean. The bed is very good, and the bedding excellent. A few small scratches. Problem with kitchen lights. It is very dark and the lights are needed. Accommodation could be improved by having a housekeeper come in in the morning just to sweep the place (given it rained most of the time) and there is no mat at the door.
The place is perfect for a few nights stay, centrally located in a nice area. We enjoyed it very much.
Had a good night's rest and the place was very well equipped, even provided a light for load shedding. Everything was very clean and tidy and felt very welcome there.

The place stole my heart. The decor, the cleanliness, the crisp bedding. The garden is beautiful and it's lovely to drink your morning coffee on the veranda surrounded by the beautiful garden. It was close to places to eat and shopping. There is free WiFi which is a must for teenagers who are always on their phones. There was also fresh milk placed in the fridge for us for coffee. This is a place I would go back to anytime and would highly recommend.

The place has everything you need and is so nicely decorated. The hostess is friendly and always willing to help where she can. We have also stayed there before and recommend the place for sure.
For a family, the little apartment is perfect; very comfortable, with sufficient storage space, but due to no hanging space in the 2nd bedroom, it was slightly inconvenient for four adults (friends) for 10 days. A place to hang towels outside, especially in winter, would be good.

Spare room no closet.
Stayed there a lot in the past, but not in the winter. The house is freezing cold with only a gas heater provided, with which you cannot fall asleep. No warm, electric blankets or winter bedding. All that was available were 2 blankets which had a smell which indicated to us that they had not been washed for a long time. The accommodation is attached to the owner's house and has no access to the electric DB box. First 2 days the geyser tripped constantly and we had to shower in cold water because the supervisor is not at home during the day and only in the late afternoon, causing the water to always be cold. Supervisor, Carien, spoke falsely when it was mentioned to us that the municipality shuts down the geysers from houses. No check-ups were done of the accommodation, as in the past. Unfortunately this experience leaves a bitter taste and will not use this accommodation again.

We really enjoyed the stay at Vriesenhof! This is a beautiful, spacious unit, furnished with all the essentials. There were also some unexpected extras, such as fresh filter coffee, biscuits and small containers of soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. We would stay there again anytime.
