Situated 5 km from Citrusdal, at the foothills of the Cederberg, Waboom @ Wolfkop Nature Reserve is one of 8 cottages on a 450-hectare reserve. Boasting incredible views of the Olifants River valley and a platter of outdoor activities, this is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle.

This cottage can comfortably accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed and the main bedroom’s en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. The other 3 en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower. Crisp white linen and bath towels are provided.

The living area features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher in the scullery. Leading from this kitchen is a lounge with comfy seating and a TV which is a great spot for guests to relax with a book. Adjacent to this lounge is a dining area with a viewing lounge and a built-in braai.

Through the stacking doors is a covered patio with comfortable seating and a built-in braai which is the perfect place for guests to unwind with a sundowner in the evening. This patio leads down to a wood-burning hot tub and a splash pool for those hot summer days.

While on the reserve, guests can enjoy stargazing without the light pollution or spot a variety of animal life from duikers to porcupines and tortoises. Depending on the time of year, there are various flowers in bloom. A canoe is available for hire at Wolfkop Camping.
