We had a great stay, thank you. Grilled on the balcony every night and greeted with the most beautiful sunrise and sunset every evening and morning. Unit was well equipped with everything you would need at the seaside. Will recommend for sure.

Our stay at Wafra 6 was just as we wanted it to be. Als was very comfortable and tidy. Enjoyed nice sea view from the balcony. Was unsure about WiFi availability at first, but after enquiry, we were able to use it. Fans might work well in the rooms with similar hot weather as we had. Owner is friendly and very helpful.

Would feel that money wise there could at least have been a hand washing soap in the bathroom. TV does not have KykNet channels that we get at other guesthouses. A coffee can also work please. Safer parking than leaving your car in the street would also be a recommendation.

The unit is really one of the best we have ever stayed in. The host is very friendly and welcoming, the house is beautifully laid out, the beds very comfortable and the shower nice and warm. The kitchen has everything one needs and more. There is nothing in this house that is not above average. The decor is perfect and we would definitely stay here again anytime.

Clean, tidy house, quiet and peaceful area. We stay by the sea so we didn't need to see the sea from any accommodation, I rather request a nice place with a nice barbecue and Wafra gave exactly that. When garage parking forms part of the stay then it's a 10 out of 10 for us!

Parking on the sidewalk was a problem for me. Although my car was safe in the 4 days, but to me it says safe parking behind gates or in a garage. The bed's mattress is very hard. My back hurt so much. It was really bad. We had very little hot water. The backyard doesn't look good. It's a good thing they don't show it in the pictures.

The cottage was suitable as we were 2 couples, enough privacy and space. The house is fully equipped with appliances, you basically just have to bring yourself and food. We were well received, the service is friendly.

We had a great time. With a toddler, having an enclosed garden with lovely green lawn was great. The house is very neat and tidy with modern finishes. We found the mattresses a little on the hard side, and there were quite a lot of ants in the kitchen being attracted to almost everything. but it didn't ruin our stay. We missed the umbrella as shown on the pictures, but still had shade from midday onwards. We loved the house and will definitely return one day. Thank you.

"Quiet getaway weekend."

Wafra 7 has nice modern finishes and ample space. The wall in front of the apartment is a plus as children can play safely on the lawn. Covered barbecue was also delicious. It's also just a stone's throw from the beach - would book again.

"It was sufficient for one night's overnight stay. DStv, sea view, near the Southernmost tip of Africa. Nice morning sun! Nice bed!"

Amelia welcomed us. She was attentive and always answered emails quickly. I think it's a nice place for summer stay. It needs some bits of winter gear, like water bags, heaters or something, because it was cold.

We stayed at Wafra between 6 - 13 January 2022. We were 5 people, 3 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 11. The flat is well appointed with a balcony with a distant view of the sea. Two bedrooms with a small single bed brought into the lounge for one child. There was a BBQ area on the balcony. No bin provided to dispose of ash. Downstairs you can park your car, but no security light, best to bring a torch. The light on the landing leading up to the flat only shines outside on the landing. There was a small kitchen with cooking utensils and a gas cooker. Kettle was basic, you had to put it either on the gas cooker or warm up water in the microwave. An electric kettle would have been more convenient. A fridge was supplied, but it was leaking. No cupboards in rooms, but small coat rail supplied. There was a set of drawers in both rooms. Bathroom was clean and tidy. However, flush of toilet “lazy” and required more than one flush. Drains very quick to block up and someone sent to repair sink. At night very unpleasant “sewage” smell emanates from bathroom drains. However, we did not complain about this. The shower was not regulated and my father sustained a scald on his head whilst in the shower. We also did not complain about this as the accommodation was so cheap. No WiFi. TV only has 3 channels. No washing facility, not even an iron supplied to iron out crumpled clothes in our suitcases. The beach and tidal pools are about 0. 4 km far as well as the village with a handy Superette and laundrette (however we were advised by locals to steer clear because of the large amounts of soap they used). We found the accommodation reasonable. However, without a laundry facility, the host never offered us a clean change of towels in 6 days. We hung some items on our balcony to dry. We found our stay reasonable. But on check-out was contacted en route by a furious hostess for leaving the “flat in a mess”. Shouting verbal abuse on the phone. Unbeknownst to us we were required to clean the entire flat, but no cleaning materials were supplied and we had to leave our refuse in refuse bags, as we were instructed to leave them at the gate and the wind would have blown it away. The flat also has a cement floor. Not easy to clean. The hostess was quick to be verbally abusive and also pointed out she will have to “get someone” to clean and send us a bill for this! I am not sure if this is a unique situation as I have traveled the world and stayed in many types of accommodations but was never made to clean my accommodation on check-out unless instructed and cleaning materials supplied! Stay here at your own peril. We most certainly will not be back.
