I was just looking for a bed for a few days - everything was good and clean. There is no fan in the room, but it cooled down enough in the evenings.

We left for a weekend and chose to spend the night at Wag-'n-Bietjie. We were welcomed by a helpful and hospitable hostess who also helped us find a restaurant for dinner. The house is clean, neat and in a nice and quiet area. The linen is crisp and we slept well. I would definitely recommend it.
Hostess went out of her way to call ahead and confirm that they would wait for us if we arrived late. Everything was very clean and tidy and we were received very kindly even though we were late. Beautiful view and a lovely veranda to enjoy a morning coffee.

Friendly couple who do a lot to make you feel at home. The Smite are comfortable people and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. In the morning you will be pleasantly surprised with delicious home-baked biscuits, coffee, bottled water and yoghurt. Magda is an excellent hostess. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Wag-a-Bietjie was perfect for what we needed. We had to spend the night in Stilbaai after a wedding at Kleinbergskloof. Wag-'n-Bietjie is approximately 2 km from the venue, which made it ideal for us. The place is painfully neat and well priced with extremely hospitable hosts. They spoiled us with coffee, tea, milk, sugar, water, yogurt and delicious biscuits for the morning. It is safe there and we slept very well under, literally, a thousand blankets. Stilbaai is cold in June! Note that there is not exactly a kitchen, but for an overnight stay it is absolutely perfect. Note: Magda and Jan, sorry we were in and out in such a hurry - we were very nearly late for the wedding! Thanks for everything and hope to see you again.
We found Wag-a-Bietjie very good. The place was particularly neat and luxurious with all the facilities for an overnight stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We will visit and recommend the place again anytime.

Our accommodation was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Ice in the freezer, coffee and biscuits and a peaceful environment where you wake up to the cooing of pigeons.
The advertisement first refers to Wag-'n-Bietjie as a B&B, but later that no meals are served. It is confusing. Privacy was also lacking as a staircase goes directly from our accommodation to the main residence and the TV and conversations there disturbed us. We had to close our room door for privacy but couldn't get it open again without the owner banging it open from outside after we called him. The bathroom door could not close properly either. The room was not serviced after our first night and the dishes were not washed either. .

The room is very clean and neat, a bit small, but it suits us well. The bathroom was also very clean and convenient. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. There is no private outside area to relax, but this was not a problem for us. Highly recommended and great value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at this establishment very much even though we only stayed over for one night. We would certainly use them again. We would however liked to have a television and wi-fi included into this rate as the other places that we looked at similar in price had this included but was fully booked for the date that we were looking for.
Wag-'n-Bietjie is definitely a place I can recommend without thinking twice. The rooms are comfy and clean. The atmosphere is homily and very comfy.

A fantastic place and very hospitable. There was only 1 negative thing. There was only 1 bathroom for 2 rooms. But luckily I was alone.
Very neat and enjoyable. But no TV and not a lot of privacy as the main stairs in the house go directly into the rental.
I just want to express my satisfaction with my stay at Wag-n-bitjie. Jan and Magda were very friendly and I had a nice stay, even if it was only one night.
