Enjoyed our time off very much. Pleasantly surprised by the facilities there, each stand has its own ablution, and there is also a lapa. We found the Elephant place and really enjoyed sitting down and switching off from our busy hustle and bustle. We were also able to take our little dog with us and that just made it even more special.

We arrived and were welcomed by the most friendly host. We enjoyed our stay so much. The tents were clean and beautiful, with very large beds inside and firewood waiting for us for the braai. We did not feel unsafe the whole time. Wild animals come to the drinking water hole right in front of our tent. We did not do the safari because we had to be at a family gathering, but would have loved to do it. There is no internet signal, but we can use their WiFi at the reception area. We will be going again.

Wagondrift pleasantly surprised us and H&H House is perfect for a group of friends who want to have a good time together, especially around a nice campfire. Pretoria is around the corner, but it feels like you are far removed from everything. The view was exceptional, the house is well furnished and tidy and there is everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bonus is that pets are welcome! Was particularly helpful and friendly.
Must be the most clean, best camping we have done so far, believe you me we have done a lot of camping. Huge grass campsites, best, clean ablutions, braai, boma and lapa, etc. Animals roaming freely. Will definitely be back. Thanks for the best stay ever.
My stay started with a friendly welcome at the reception, then I went to my luxury tent which has all I required for my 4-night stay. Plenty of game to see while walking around the bush gets better when you book a game drive further into the bush.
The campsite was very neat, comfortable and private. We liked it a lot and also enjoyed cycling and saw many animals on the farm. What bothered us were all the dogs they allow at the residential area; they barked a lot and disturbed the silence every now and then. For that reason we would think twice about going again.
Wagondrift was an outstanding getaway! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the open spaces provided a perfect haven for our dogs to roam and play. We even had some delightful antelope visit us, adding a special touch to our stay. With everything we needed right there, all we had to bring was food and ourselves. It was a fantastic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We'll definitely be back for another bush retreat!
We booked at Wagondrift, but with family crises we couldn't go. I emailed Muriel that my son and his wife could go in our place, and she didn't think twice about allowing it. My kids really enjoyed it. They stayed in one of the tents and couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed it. Everything was good for them. The morning and evening safari drives were a highlight. During the night safari, they came across a newborn Blue Wildebeest baby. We will book there again.
Wagondrift is a great place for a getaway. Whether you are just 2 or 10. Nice and quiet, a beautiful place and lots of animals to see. Nice for big and small.

Noise from wood sawing and construction activities was disturbing at times, but since we camped during the week, it is probably understandable. Route directions urgently need to be revised, and from a definitive reference point. Fortunately, I am familiar with the environment.

Really enjoyed the visit with family at this beautiful venue. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The game drive was wonderful and we learned quite a few things about the goats and nature. The units are very well maintained, clean and tidy.
After a busy week in the city, it was good to be able to get away to a place in the woods that met everything we could ask for. Muriel received us kindly after which we were shown in the direction of our luxury tent. Neat outdoor kitchen, fantastic shower and the delight of an ostrich that came to visit us at the tent. Our game drive was fantastic with a great variety of wildlife to be seen. Our field guide had a lot of knowledge of the forest and it was a great experience. Will definitely go back again.

Wagon drift lodge has very nice hiking trails and they have all the bush animals you can think of. We had the opportunity of seeing baby giraffes and baby wildebeest. I can recommend the lodge to anyone.
Inside of tent was nicely laid out. Everything was there. Warm bedding. Hot water bags. Only small downside is the showers are outside and partially open, so in the winter months quite cold, but in the summer it will be very nice. Will go again, but in the summer.

Very neat and well-equipped, luxury tents, with everything you would need! There was even a flashlight next to the bed and a hot water bottle for cold nights. Everything you could need is already there including cutlery such as glasses, pots plates etc. Even better - no mobile reception from 15 min before you get there. The game drive is very reasonably priced and very good value for money. There are swimming facilities too. Would highly recommend them and would definitely go there again.

Beautiful and clean, very well maintained and cared for. Can walk everywhere and swimming pools are available and clean. Free wifi at the lapa works well and helps a lot with communication. People are very friendly and helpful and the game drives are highly recommended.
This was our 3rd time staying in the tents and will go back again and again. Place is clean and tidy and everything you need. The lodge itself is peaceful and you can just relax by the pool, under the lapa or just by your own tent. It's our second time at Wagondrift lodge and each visit just gets better and better. Muriel always receives us with such joy and is always friendly. We stayed in the H&H house and the house has everything you need, we had a great stay and the view from the hill over the farm is just amazing. Des took us on a very nice game drive and we laughed so much and also learned a lot from him with his knowledge of the field, Des gave us the best game drive ever. I would recommend 100 times to people to visit Wagondrift, friendly and helpful people and had no problems. We will definitely see Wagondrift again!
On arrival, Muriel was very friendly and helpful. The chalet was very well furnished and clean. All that was a bit of a surprise was that the chalet didn't have any coffee, but at least there was for sale in the kiosk. We had a great time switching off and enjoying the barbecue. Wood was also provided on a daily basis. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Upon our arrival, Muriel made us feel as if we were part of the family, it was so nice to be received kindly, the resort offers so much to its guests! The main lodge is so comfortably furnished with WiFi etc. Our tent stay was top notch, and you couldn't ask for anything more than a weekend not to go by so quickly. Des' knowledge of the environment and animals is truly fantastic, and the game drive was really fun. We will see you again soon.

Reception was great. There is a kiosk available that supplies ice and anything you may have forgotten at home. Chalet 3 was painstakingly tidy and kitchen fully equipped with a breathtaking view of lots of wildlife roaming freely. Wood was provided for a nice barbecue and the game drive was included in my booking. Will definitely stay there again.
There is a saying that if you enjoy what you do you will never have to work again. The passion they have for the animals and the field with the game drives is really recommendable. The place is neat and clean and we will definitely stay there again.
Always nice to be there. Try to go every year. The swimming pool at the camp sites is getting a bit cramped compared to the amount of people who were there. So it's hard to get swimming opportunities, especially when people are barbecuing and hanging out there. Hope there is a way to enlarge the pool or more pools in the future, but I will definitely come again.
My husband and I really enjoyed the weekend and cooled off in one of the two cold water pools. Everything we needed was at hand and I was particularly impressed with the spacious ablution facilities and neat kitchenette. One can see that a lot of money has been spent to make it as comfortable as possible for the visitors. It is still a bit untouched here and there, but absolutely worth a visit. The best part of the whole weekend was the extremely competent guide.

What an amazing stay! The owners are more than accommodating in every way! We stayed in the Trading Post. Nine adults and 3 small children. That was for people than what was advertised may stay. There were 5 separate units with each a bathroom of their own, so each of the 5 families had privacy, yet could all visit in the entertainment area. There is a private pool. A game drive was included in the price as well as ample firewood. The place was beautiful and clean and very spacious. The animals, various kinds of buck, come so close to the accommodation. There is feed and a lick and water placed close by to encourage them to come closer to the house. We truly enjoyed this magnificent stay and definitely plan on going again!
The resort is very good value for money considering that each pitch has its own bathroom. Firewood and a game drive are included.

No self-drive into the resort to watch wildlife, but hiking in the park brings you closer to and more focused on nature, especially the little guys get so much attention and you can digest last night's potato salad a bit.

Overall peaceful. Very neat and clean. Friendly people. Especially appreciated that we didn't really have loadshedding problems. Would maybe have enjoyed a bit of a larger swimming pool for the tent camp. There were too many people for that swimming pool. You can't go on game drives by yourself, but a free game ride is included in the booking. Kiosk could maybe sell a few more items.
We really enjoyed our weekend, thank you very much! We stayed in Wildebeest Gesinskothuis. Neat, clean accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Nice big boma to make a fire as well as a built-in braai on the stoep. There was more than enough wood provided as well. The porch blocks a lot of wind so we could still hang out outside even though it was windy outside. The game drive with Des was special. saw many beautiful animals and he shared so many interesting facts with us. We took the most beautiful photos at sunset. Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend! We will definitely visit again!

Our campsite with tents was very well equipped. You have everything you need there, you don't need to bring anything with you! It was very peaceful and we could relax. I would only recommend that new pans be procured from our unit (Flat Pork), all the Teflon was scraped off. It would also be a good idea to get a service that sweeps up the barbecue wood from the night before and drives away in the morning. Many of the places we've stayed offer the service and it keeps everything pretty clean - especially when it rains or the wind blows all the ashes around. Thank you so much for the educational game drive! We would definitely recommend a weekend there.

Wagondrif is a lovely place with 2 very friendly helpful people in charge. A place where you can fully relax and enjoy nature. The game drive is the event that stands out the most, it was very fun and educational! What I would recommend is that (even if it is small) a microwave is added to the tents to facilitate self-catering.

One of the best equipped places we have ever stayed with the friendliest people and the best game drive. Des, Muriel and staff make you feel special and welcome. You just don't get the complimentary game drive and wood anymore. We walked for hours and then just rested. We will definitely go again. But as with everything, there is always something that is not ideal: the children's play area is awfully close to most of the 2 person chalets that make for a nice early night in bed after a long day or a little late in the morning make it impossible.

Wagondrift will definitely see me again. Saw so much wildlife my head is still spinning. The game drive that was included was top notch. Learned so much. Wood that was provided lasted us three nights. My boy especially enjoyed the nyala, donkey and ostriches who were our daily visitors to our cottage.

Wagendrift is excellently located. It's very peaceful and safe. We could go for long walks and bike rides. There is a variety of goats, zebras, wildebeest and ostriches to see. The pool and all facilities are very neat and clean and the staff are extremely friendly and considerate.
Recommendation depends. For a family no, self catering facilities very basic. No real kitchen to prepare food. Great for one night. Nearest place for a light meal more than 40 km away. Feel free to consider offering at least tea and coffee or something stronger. I believe that Wagondrift Lodge's owners and management do not really know what their target market is. Very luxurious in terms of bathroom and sleeping facilities (children are not catered for in our unit, maybe in others).

Folks, this was excellent! The place is really so in the woods and delicious! The chalets are beautiful, very well equipped, romantic and nice and private. We definitely plan to visit there again.
It's a fantastic woodland feeling. The foxes that scream and the night owls that call in the night are awesome. The ostrich and nyala will eat out of your hand with the right approach to them. Wood is provided to grill meat. The outdoor shower is so refreshing. TV is not necessary. One switches off and listens to what the forest and animals have to offer.
We really enjoyed our stay at Wagondrift Lodge. Everything was neat and clean and the surroundings are very beautiful. We were able to relax wonderfully and just enjoy the tranquility. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The luxury tents can accommodate 2 guests in each and comprises a king or twin beds, a bathroom, a kitchenette and braai facilities. The caravan sites can accommodate 4 guests in each. Each site offers its own ablution block with shower, plug points a Lapa and separate braai facilities.
There are also species of game that frequent the farm, such as antelope, zebra, and wildebeest. Wagondrift Lodge is also located 30 minutes from Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park, and 35 to 40-minute drive from Cullinan.
