Disappointed in Nieuwoudtville.
We enjoyed our stay at Wapad. It was attractive and generally well appointed. The electric plugs were a bit of a challenge, located behind the desk and difficult to get attachments in and out. It was so nice having the outside verandah and the lovely outlook into the surrounding countryside. The staff were very pleasant.
Lovely clean rooms with all the amenities. Izak went out of his way to make our client feel comfortable when she was not feeling well and had to miss a day on the flower tour.
It's our second year in a row staying at Wapad, and we will come back every year.
Here we stayed like kings. Cosy, well furnished and very special. Maybe think about installing a proper shower for Bloutrots.
Was there for the Great Trek MTB event. It is a very neat place.
Izak was an extremely friendly and helpful host. The room was well equipped, including a coffee machine and hair dryer. Decorations were modern and beautiful. The on-site dinner menu was limited, but the steaks were delicious and highly recommended. A full 'boere' breakfast to satisfy a big appetite was served in the room.

We stayed in the middle of a cold front storm. It was lovely to have a hot shower, a warm bed and a small heater. There was a very tasty breakfast included, and the owners were very hospitable. The only negative was that we planned to eat at the restaurant on site, as indicated on the website. Everything was closed and unmanned, but there was no indication online that there wasn't an option for meals. (The owners did help us with food, which was an incredible gesture.)

The owners are amazing, friendly and helpful. They take no shortcuts, beds excellent, showers excellent, coffee is bean coffee and the breakfasts are very good. They definitely deserve 10 out of 10 from our point of view!

We stayed over for 2 nights. When we arrived, the toilet was dirty but soon learned they had a problem with water and therefore couldn't flush. Lovely breakfast. Owner and his wife are very friendly as well as the staff. Will definitely support them in the future.

Lovely stay, everything needed, we were helped to make our own braai and not in the communal braai facility. However, we did not know about the restaurant/dining facility where we could eat.

Very nice stay - good location.
Room partly without power. Outside bins not cleared (consider only after Boxing Day). Instructions for in town can be simplified as all street names are not there: turn right in the street before the blue house and about 1km on the right is Wapad.
Photos are misleading. No pots or pans to cook food, I went to find pots in another room and they were full of dust. No provision (other than a candle) for load shedding. No facilities for washing dishes except in bathroom sink.
