You feel at home when you are there.
Not enough cupboard space for family to unpack into. Needed utensils for frying pan. A small stove might be nice instead of hot plate.
We can definitely recommend Warm Horizon for a short visit or overnight stop. We were in Durban for 2 nights on business. The apartment had everything needed and the teenagers enjoyed the pool! There was indeed a misunderstanding, because the website did not update the list. The listing says that linen and towels are provided, but the owner says that it was changed a long time ago, and that guests must bring their own towels, but it didn't matter at all, towels were immediately provided. There was even a parking space arranged for us at another site for our oversized car trailer! We didn't need anything, even the loadshedding schedule was sent to us daily. If we ever have to find accommodation in that direction again, it is for sure Warm Horizon.

To say that we are impressed with warm horizon is an understatement. Nothing was too much effort for Berinda and Dean. Notwithstanding them being so gracious, kind, warm and friendly. This time with the beaches being closed was difficult and they went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and entertained. We will definitely return and will recommend Warm Horizon to all our friends and acquaintances. Thank you for everything Berinda.

Poor, we booked a 6 sleeper for 6 adults, there was 2 beds and a small broken sleeper couch which they told us to use as a bed that was not even enough for 1 adult due to the size.
I would never ever go to that place ever again. It’s a waist of money. Its very bad. It's not even child friendly. The pool is very dirty and the owner has empty promises and very rude.
Berinda and Dean were absolutely wonderful hosts and had a great time staying with them. It was a very peaceful holiday and living room very clean and everything at your disposal.

Everyone was kind and helpful. More then what I have expected, prompt reply to questions very helpful putting guest first all the time.
Very good people and they make your stay very pleasant. They go out of their way to make things comfortable for you. They have a dog but she's very cute and never near you. Swimming pool was a bit unpleasant ─ lots of leaves, but kids still swam. The place is worth your money.
The service was very good and we appreciated everything, but I don't believe the unit is worth R850 a night, because it is very small and is not intended for 4 people. Shower door is also broken and needs to be looked at.
TV remotes didn't work, owner's response: Well if people don't report it, I don't know about it. One would think the owner should make sure everything is right before guests arrive? Parking is definitely a problem, sharp descent and car is open and no carport or nothing. You need to get your car in 1st gear at the gate in 20 seconds! Room itself is 6/10.
Parking is very awkward, having to reverse up a steep incline to exit the gate. Also had a lot of trouble locating the guest house, there is no type of identification on the wall. Main entrance's gate did not close from time to time and this made us feel unsafe. Children's bed is a sleeper couch and is not in good condition. There were braai facilities, but no braai tongs in room. The previous people are gone with it. Had to use a fork. No braai bowls for meat are available. Swimming pool was full of leaves and children did not want to swim in the pool. Large tree located over the pool. The owners are very friendly.
The boys said that it was a lot of fun.

My family and I stayed with Dean and Berinda, the owners of Warm Horizon for about a week and it was divine. They are very warm, friendly and welcomed us into their midst with open arms. They went above the call of duty to accommodate us and I am very grateful for that. The place is very clean, there is internet connection, a TV with DStv, a kitchenette where we prepared our meals. It was just awesome.
People were friendly and very helpful. The place was neat and clean and very safe. Located near a lot of shopping centers. The room was clean and tidy and exactly what we wanted for the 2 day stay. Had a nice outside breakfast every morning and was a peaceful, quiet place. Thank you very much, we really enjoyed it.

Room was neat and we were received kindly.
Couple with 2 and 6 year old. The open plan left no room for kids to move about and the backyard has absolutely no space due to the swimming pool. Having no Television to occupy the kids did not help the situation either. The owner and husband kept spinning contradictory stories as to why the dish was not working. Will not recommended it to anyone.
On the Internet Warm Horizon stated that there is free wifi. I stayed for 4 nights but the wifi was not working for all the days I stayed and other thing is that day we could not open the windows or the door because of the monkeys. Swimming pool was dirty.
