We had a wonderful stay, staff were friendly and breakfast was very tasty. Not quite worth the price, but still a great stay.
The hotel room was really nice and clean. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, and all the in-room facilities. The balcony, however, needs a little bit of work done. It's a wooden balcony and while it is still safe and steady, it has some missing nails and the wood is aging. Overall, it was a great place and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Not everything listed is possible. I ordered a common beer, they only had 3 available despite claiming they had a bar. There is no minibar. A small soft drink costs R40. The next day I tried ordering other drinks, which they also did not have in stock. There is no phone in the rooms for calling reception. Wifi didn't work.
Everything met our expectations, except that with the load shedding, the generator did not start at 2 am as said it would work.
Didn't bring our breakfast to the room and you have to book for Jacuzzi at high cost.

The stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The only setback was that this was our wedding night and I especially booked the honeymoon suite due to the package being promised (champagne, rose petals and chocolates). Unfortunately none of this was provided. But furthermore I will recommend this to all. It was a lovely stay.

Thank you to Isaac for the service, he really welcomed us with open arms and made us feel very welcome. Even the security guard was there to help carry our luggage, with the umbrella. The room was very clean and tidy. Everything was in working order. Very happy with our stay and the food was the best - thank you chef! I'd just like to have had the same hospitality that morning when we checked out. It still rained and we had to carry our luggage in the rain to our car, soaked up! Wouldn't have liked the feeling of 'we'd just finished paying and now we can say goodbye!' It wasn't Isaac who was on duty, who helped us with umbrella and made us feel welcome! Apart from this I will definitely book there again!

You feel like a VIP when you stop at Waterfalll Boutique - someone comes to pick you up from your car. The rooms are very neat and clean, equipped with DSTV, kettle, coffee and tea as well as a small fridge with goodies (you pay what you take). There were rose petals and chocolate on the bed and a lovely romantic corner bath! The linen, mattress and pillows are of high quality and we slept wonderfully. Breakfast (included in the price) was top notch! The garden is beautiful with its own waterfall, koi fish, ducks and a swimming pool.
Hotel very centrally located, just 4 minutes from Menlyn Mall. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We only arrived late at night - the security guard opened the rooms for us and explain to us in detail how everything works. Breakfast was lovely and sufficient.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but hopefully the owners can learn from this review and work on it to better the experience for future clients. I would definitely say this is not a boutique hotel, its rather suited to a 3 star, I have stayed in boutique hotels as well as 5 star hotels and unfortunately Waterfalls Boutique Hotel falls short on both, mainly for the following reasons: No real personal touch, while the staff were very friendly and cannot be faulted, it's definitely missing the owners (upper management) touch and its very apparent, the biggest disappointed was the food, we ordered fillet but received a rib eye (frozen in the middle), no wine list, dessert (cheese cake) frozen in the middle and the spaghetti was very questionable. I understand that the focus is not around the dining experience, however more effort can be put into the dining experience if not then I advise to limit the menu to light meals.
Family room needs upgrading.
There was a lot of noise on the Thursday evening. I didn't feel safe outside of my room to confront whoever it was. So I get the impression that the owner is only there in the mornings.

Breathtaking. Pieter is a definite asset to Waterfalls Boutique Hotel. Incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. Literally felt when we checked out on Sunday as if we had been friends for years. Anyone should visit the Hotel and I will surely recommend all my friends to visit Waterfalls Boutique Hotel for an evening or a weekend. Absolutely worth it and exactly what you need to switch off a bit from the everyday hustle and bustle.

Reception was excellent, staff some of the friendliest and most cordial people that we have experienced. Accommodation is value for money - clean, neat and we felt safe when we drove in. Unfortunately the remote for the gate didn't have batteries but the staff was there to help. Breakfast could've been a bigger variety.

A beautiful and safe venue ideally located with the most spectacular views from the bedrooms overlooking Menlyn and Eastern Pretoria. Very pricey in relation to other 4 and 5 star accommodations in the surrounding area. We had a good stay.
Reception was very pleasant, and the place is very neat! Decor is excellent, and the room is well equipped. The view is, as promised, breathtaking. The atmosphere is calm and luxurious. This is definitely a place to stay to consider if you are in the area for work or leisure!

One expects a little more from a boutique hotel than a guest house. The towels are very small, bathsheets would be better. Only 1 pillow per person on the bed and no sheet, just a duvet. Very good service, staff very well trained and helpful. Parking is a problem.

The pictures on the internet are very misleading. the size of the place - it's actually a typical big house converted into a hotel. I'm not sure what a Boutique Hotel represents, but I would advertise it as a guest house. The reception was good. The place was clean and they went the extra mile to accommodate our two children at no extra cost. The jacuzzi which you can use at an extra cost was a winner - your own clean water is tapped just for your use - candlelight and clean towels are provided. Our stay was pleasant.
Nice location, tasteful decor, and personalised service.
Highly recommended. They went to a lot of trouble to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
