The house comprises 4 en-suite bathrooms, each with their own entrance and private patio. There are 2 bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 bedrooms furnished with a king-size. The main bedroom contains has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There is 2 en-suite bathroom with a shower and 1 en-suite bathroom with a bath. There is underfloor heating in all rooms to keep guests warm in the winter.
The large living area has a loft area that is accessed by a spiral staircase. The loft area has a library and a study. There is a separate and comfortable lounge with a plasma TV with PVR and a DVD-player as well as an 8 seater dining room table. The fully equipped farmhouse kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There is also a guest bathroom.
The living area leads outside onto an undercover verandah with views of the Mount Horeb. There is a large wood burning fireplace in the lounge. Braai facilities are available and there is a double undercover parking bay as well as additional off street parking. The house is fully equipped and serviced daily, excluding Sundays.
The village of Clarens offers an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and interesting shops for the browser. For those who enjoy more physical activities one is spoiled for choice white water rafting, mountain bike and 4x4 trails, hiking, fly fishing, golf and quad biking. There are also a number of interesting historical and fossil sites in the Clarens vicinity. For those who need a bit of pampering there are also spa facilities within a few km of Clarens.

The stay was great. The cleaning service was good. The only concern was that there was no braai facility.
Wonderful stay. I would recommend that a bigger fridge is needed as the house can accommodate 8 people and the size of the fridge is not commensurate with the number of guests - if they are self-catering. I would also recommend that a coffee machine or at least a Bodum will enhance the offerings.
We are regular visitors in Clarens and can now say that we have found our go-to accommodation. The house is spacious and comfortable with a touch of sophistication. They even provided us with a camping cot - the attention to detail is impeccable.

Wonderfully spacious with the added luxury of heated floors and beds. A very warm welcome on arrival, would definitely stay again!
Only negative was that the gas braai was rusty and didn't work properly.
We were 7 people from 3 different age groups (grandparents, parents and children) and each could enjoy visiting each other on their own or together!
