The most outstanding hospitality from Hilda and Jasper! They made every effort to accommodate our family, moving beds and making plans even before our arrival. The setting is exquisite, and by far, the best breakfast I've ever had at a B&B. Everything has been thought of, and it is close enough to the town to be well-located, but also very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely return some day.
We were in the Kgalagadi when we had to get to the hospital in Upington immediately due to an accident. Within 30 minutes we found accommodation for four adults at the Waterfront Guesthouse. Jasper received us kindly, even had a fire in the fireplace against the cold. The breakfast was also top notch, the staff friendly and hospitable. I would recommend Waterfront Guesthouse without hesitation.

Three business partners and I were treated to hospitality, delicious meals and take away packed lunches for our long journey onwards. The tranquility and beautiful surroundings were good for us. Customer service and care is excellent. We do it again!

Waterfront Guest House is really on the waterfront. The river is not visible from the rooms (except for Room 4), but the outdoor living area and the dining room face the water. It's beautiful! And such a peaceful atmosphere. Brunhilda responded like lightning to my inquiry and to every message after that. Brunhilda and her team are very friendly, hospitable and helpful. We slept there on the way to the West Coast. It was so pleasant, we decided to spend the night there again on the way back. We would stay there again anytime.

Brunhilde and her team went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The garden, facilities, swimming pool were very neatly maintained and it was a pleasure to be able to stay there. The location was fantastic - even though you are in Upington it feels like you are on a farm, very quiet and peaceful. It was a privilege to be able to relax on the banks of the Qranje River and appreciate the nature and sunset.
This was a good value for money stay with an excellent breakfast. It was great to spend our day on the banks of the Orange river watching the river and the birds. Excellent!

The Waterfront Guesthouse is a very neat place, Monday dinner out of the book.
Host very pleasant, hostess needs a vacation, gives orders to staff while talking to you. Rooms very clean and tidy, room door needs fixing and toilet door too small for doorway. Bed very good, as well as the shower. Staff lack good training and finesse. Breakfast the big disappointment. First no coffee, then cold coffee, then weak coffee, undrinkable. Staff argue about this instead of fixing it! Bacon rock hard, egg not at all what was ordered, jam in small commercial packets, nice homemade jam missing. Ride on river was very pleasant and unexpected. .
Beautiful location and very quiet, with a wonderful view of the river. Very friendly staff.
