The only challenge for other visitors may be the dirt road to the farm. Parts are badly galvanized.
Waterkloof is a special oasis. With a view of a dam and the sound of waterfowl, you can't believe you're in the Karoo. We were received with genuine hospitality and enjoyed our visit very much. Just be aware that there is a stretch of dirt road that I would not like to drive in a regular flat car. It was severely corrugated.

What a pleasant surprise! Arriving at this beautiful oasis was a perfect start to our holiday. The guesthouse is so much better than the images show. It is a new build with an eclectic mix of classic/antique items and really good design choices. Beds are comfortable with good quality linen. The host provided freshly picked, delicious, juicy peaches, homemade jam, lemonade, biscuits and more. The dam is pristine, crystal clear water teeming with fish.
We had a good rest and enjoyed spending time in the beautiful surroundings.
