We had a nice stay. And we will definitely go again. The gardens are lovely and a loop court. Host is very friendly.
Beautiful, peaceful location with lovely, neat, clean and very comfortable accommodation. The garden and river were amazing and so relaxing. Hosts and staff were friendly and helpful while respecting our privacy. Will definitely be back!

Waterland is great, Cape Town is 15 minutes on one side, and Hout Bay 10 minutes the other, but it's quiet and safe. The dogs come over and are well-behaved, the accommodations are all clean and well looked after, and the hosts are friendly.
We love Waterland. Such a lovely place to stay and fun for kids. Perfect location to get to Houtbay and the Kirstenbosch.
Highly recommended, and the best place I've ever stayed at.
Our stay was luxurious and the location adds to the relaxation. It also helped a lot that Waterland Lodge was able to help us with laundry when we decided to stay for an extra night and didn't pack the necessary extra clean clothes for the extra day. The dogs on the premises are very tame and the children really enjoyed the dogs' boldness to drop in and just sleep together.
Everything was available and really enjoyed my stay. Hope to come back soon and book for the whole weekend.

Our 2 sisters and our families had a wonderful stay at Waterland Lodge. The houses are super clean and cosily furnished with an eye for detail. It's the ideal accommodation to discover Hout Bay and surroundings. Don't forget to do the Myburgh Waterfall trail. Beautiful Waterfall! It was lovely to return to this oasis of rest after each day trip and then enjoy a cozy barbecue! Very friendly helpful owners!
Very neat and the owners are very friendly. The waterfall in the background calms you down. The garden is beautiful and the dogs very friendly.
We had a spur of the moment idea to get away for the weekend, and while searching for a place to stay, we found Waterland lodge. We stayed in The Orchid Family Cottage. Everything was as advertised, and even better. Ben was very friendly and helpful. We loved the friendly dogs. Will definitely be returning for another visit.

Grant and Silvia are 2 beautiful people who make a lot of effort for their guests. The unit was beautiful and very neat and clean. It was quiet and peaceful and the photos don't do it justice. Would recommend anytime and would definitely stay there again.

Waterland has the most beautiful gardens, the river next to the property is most relaxing and the surrounding mountains are majestic. Rooms are spacious and stunningly decorated. Lots of things to do and explore in the area. We had a fabulous time at Waterland. Thank you Grant and Silvia.
The lodge is absolutely beautiful, the surroundings amplify it. The dogs, scenery, tranquility was all a bonus. A welcome bonus. The owners were extremely friendly, and I am very satisfied with the service I received. I will definitely be coming soon again!
The host and wife are great. The service is excellent and the establishment is superbly located, peaceful with the river you can hear.
Grant was so assuring and empathetic towards our disappointment and his wife was just amazing as well. Really amazing owners and they know exactly how to treat their guests. Grants wife was even so kind. I would recommend anyone to stay at Waterland Lodge. Nothing more peaceful than the relaxing sounds of the waterfall and the birds when you wake up in the morning. It's just awesome.
We did the Two Oceans race and Waterland Lodge is perfectly located. The full marathon athletes usually run past the street and Waterland Lodge is just a 20 min drive from UCT. Very neat, spacious and hospitable.
It was a very peaceful area and everything was just the best. Will definitely go back and highly recommended.
