Guests can use our two double kayaks to paddle around Schaapen Island and enjoy the rich bird and marine life. West Coast Fossil Park is 20 km away. Take a scenic drive through the West Coast National Park into the Posberg National Park to see the beautiful Namaqualand flowers in the spring.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved how we could walk to the restaurants and small shops just around the corner. The location is perfect for a stay in winter (cosy, with a view of the water), and we will come back in summer one day to enjoy being on the beach!

We stayed in the apartment for almost two weeks with the sea and beach on our doorstep. The apartment has everything you need. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The gas stove was a hit, as was the solar standby and generation in the absence of power. The sun deck above the apartment offers a beautiful view of the sea and beach for guests and includes braai facilities. The owners went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and were very pleasant. Their service was very good and we can confidently recommend the place to future visitors.
The accommodation is excellent. Location right on the beach and walk around the corner to shops and restaurants. Looks exactly like the pictures. Only unexpected thing is that the unit is opposite the owner's residence, almost like a guest room with its own entrance/kitchen/living area so privacy is limited. I suggest you maybe put up a screen wall between the owner and apartment for guests' privacy. Also, the apartment does not have a sea view from the apartment, but it does from the roof. Bed is cuddly, silver clean, warm and the mattress very good quality. Hairdryer was available. Kitchen appliances such as coffee machine etc. available and in good condition. WiFi worked well. Everything in the unit is good quality and painfully neat and clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. It's a really beautiful place and would love to stay there again.

The unit is so nicely equipped with everything you need. The shops are within walking distance and Perly's restaurant is 3 houses away. Located on the beach and the view on Schaapeneiland is beautiful. Thank you very much Bonita for the hospitality and kindness. I wish we could stay longer.
The place was clean, Wi-Fi was good and the location was awesome! The hosts were friendly.
All that is missing is a dishwasher and a covered braai and a new dartboard. Furthermore, als was 100! Didn't even notice if it was load shedding.

A clean house, full of natural light and close to the lagoon. The house is excellently equipped, the hosts are friendly and helpful.
Negative points: Knives very blunt, glass in bathroom broken, one of the dining room chairs is broken, chalk at dartboard so to speak, dishwasher short, microwave oven door does not open properly. Positive points: Excellent location, Lovely house, dartboard for pastime, nice bedding, WiFi, Netflix, plenty of towels.
We were a family with grandma and grandpa and our 3 small children together. The house is located right on the lagoon and we could spend hours playing on the beach. The braai area is well sheltered from the wind and you can see the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. Juanita and Mark helped us whenever we ran out of something in the house. There are also lots of toys for the children and for the adults there are canoes and diving equipment that you can use to enjoy the lagoon. We will definitely come again, it was very nice. Thank you Juanita and Mark.

Water's Edge was very tidy and full of delightful surprises upon our arrival. Ross received us and always went out of her way to help us with anything. So nice to be able to sit on the porch and watch the children on the beach. Restaurants are within walking distance with a view of the sea. The canoes provided a lot of fun and the boys even caught fish from the canoe. Water's Edge is a must for any family.
The small extras from fresh fruit to milk and tea, coffee etc. was highly appreciated! The place was super clean. Beautiful location. We will most definitely be back.
The self-catering unit is located on the beach in Langebaan in a private street. Restaurants and shops are around the corner. Beautiful apartment with everything you need to make your visit comfortable and convenient. Nice owners, Marc and Juanita who look after your well-being. The fruit, milk and fruit juice are appreciated. The detail with which the owners have furnished the unit and small extras are highly recommended.

Dis 'n lieflike blyplek reg teen die lagoon. Sowaar op die rand van die water. Die detail is pragtig en alles is silwerskoon en modern. As privaatheid belangrik is (byvoorbeeld om soggens met pajamas op die stoep sit) moet ek noem dat die blyplek dan nie so privaat is nie. Die eienaars bly reg langsaan en respekteer privaatheid, maar hul funksioneer ook reg voor die woonstel. Pearly's is die beste restaurant. Ons was 2 aande in 'n ry daar.

We loved staying at Water's Edge. We visited Langebaan for a family wedding and therefor we did not have much time to really just stay and relax and enjoy the lovely unit and location. Juanita is so friendly. The unit is lovely. Clean, fresh and beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Lovely beds. Lovely coffee. What a lovely en-suite bathroom. Cute doggies. There is nothing that I can fault - I only wish we could have stayed longer, but we sure hope to go back.

A very modern and classy place with prime location on the Langebaan lagoon. Has all the necessary amenities and is a few steps away from the main beach and restaurant strip.

Die beste verblyf van ons hele vakansie. Mooiste plekkie reg op die see. Die uitsig is asemrowend! Die huis was netjies en goed ingerig vir 'n familie en het alles wat jy nodig het vir 'n vakansie by die see. Juanita en Mark was die perfekte gasheer en gasvrou. Julle is amazing mense. Dankie vir al die aandag wat julle aan ons gegee het. Die roeibote was vir seker 'n pluspunt en ons het die balkon baie geniet. Ons sal definitief weer daar bly.

A comfortable and well appointed place to stay with kids, especially with the beach on your doorstep. Coffee, cookies, milk and fruit were very appreciated for that next morning's get up and go.
