Self-catering with air conditioning, a must in 41°C heat, a pool and a portable clothing drying rack. These sorts of details are important when travelling. Beautiful views over the lake toward Paarl, and the accommodation itself had everything we needed. The hostess was superb and made sure we had everything we needed.
A wonderful break in a peaceful environment with a beautiful view. Well equipped, spacious units. Braai facilities right next to the dam are a bonus. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
Very neat accommodation. Helpful and friendly staff. Most beautiful view. Children swam, boated and fished. We were able to have a nice barbecue outside with the family.

The service of the staff is very good. We had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant the morning before our departure. The location is excellent, close to Paarl and Franschhoek and all the nice wine farms and places to eat. The bit of dirt road to Le Bonheur is good. We drove a small rental car and had no problems and directions to Le Bonheur were very good. We felt safe the whole time and slept and stayed very well. Would definitely recommend Waterside on Le Bonheur.

It was exactly what we needed for our 2 night stay.
We have booked 2 units so that there is enough space for our children (their own room and bathroom). We were received very kindly and effort was made to make sure we had everything we needed. I think attention could perhaps be paid to the maintenance/cleanliness of the driveway as one drives into the entrance of the restaurant. Furthermore, everything was available and convenient for our 1 night's stay.
Stayed overnight as attended a wedding close by. Met all our needs. Host very welcoming and accommodating.
The apartment has everything that one needs and is creatively decorated and styled. The design of the shower curtain could be vastly improved as the water runs down the curtain onto the floor. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the evening and will definitely return. The staff was most kind and helpful.
We were pleasantly surprised with wonderful accommodation, beautiful views and little unexpected treats, nice swimming, paddling on the pond and fishing. Would highly recommend, especially with young kids, endless entertainment.

We were in the area for a wedding, and Le Bonheur was one of the more affordable accommodations around, so we didn't expect too much, but were very pleasantly surprised. It is very beautiful, with a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, and the service is excellent, available 24/7. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again for a getaway! The only negative comment that can be made is that the stone road didn't work well with our car, a van or SUV would probably do better, and we weren't 100% sure about safety, but didn't feel unsafe at all not the night. The payment also went smoothly and the restaurant is a bonus.
It allows noisy drunken students to party, make music, swear and swim in the guests' pool. Le Bonheur's natural surroundings are very beautiful and that's why we booked there according to the website's advertisement. When we got there, the room we go to Osprey 2B looks completely different from the photos (a far cry from it). The braai boma in front of the guest units is rented out on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the day to noisy students with loud music and crude language until 17:00. After that, the staff's children come to swim in the pool right in front of the unit, and are screamed and frolicked there until I don't know what time. We went for our wedding anniversary weekend and what was supposed to be quiet and romantic was really a big big disappointment
Quiet and tranquil getaway. We would've stayed longer if we could.
We couldn't ask for more hospitality. The lady who helped us went out of her way to help us. The accommodation was clean and the location is beautiful. My children enjoyed it thoroughly, and I can really recommend the place.

The decor is lovely and Visarend, where we stayed, is fully equipped for self-catering. Lovely views of the dam. Can recommend.
