39 guests' feedbackThis is a very nice place to stay. You have your own washing machine with a tumble dryer. Also, you have 2 air conditioners with an alarm system and a fridge. There is also a gas stove if the power is off. If the power does go off, the owner starts his big generator. Location is very good and close to almost anything you want to do in Hartbeespoort.
The cottage is lovely, neat and well kept. I loved the privacy it offered. Communication from the owner was good and everything was in place. Absolutely no troubles.

Yes, it was a lovely visit.
The unit was very clean and tidy, and it was comfortable with the aircon. Very satisfied.
Details of the people were given very well and knew exactly how to get there and keys etc. to get. Unit is very neat and clean and with everything you need there. Very peaceful atmosphere with pond and sheep that are there.

Ideal for 2 people or people with children. Well equipped with everything and communication was good. Bonus is the place has back-up power so you don't notice during loadshedding. The internet also works very well. Close to dam, cable car and shops.

We had an amazing time with some of the most beautiful sunsets. Everything very nicely laid out. Love the sheep, the dam and the tranquility of the small holdings. It was also nice and central. Love it!

A beautiful cottage, silence and beautiful nature. One can relax here. The owner is extremely helpful and the small personal touches were appreciated, such as the milk, tea, coffee etc. One can come and relax here. My only suggestion is new sofas in the front room, the sofas are very old and low and people with back problems cannot use the sofas.
My family and I had a wonderful time, peace and quiet, my daughter enjoyed the place. I Will definitely go back, very clean, what you see on the internet is what you get.

Thank you Waterside Rest Cottage for beautiful accommodation. The dam, nice lawn and big tree was lovely and it felt as if we were on holiday. The flat was beautiful and very clean and had everything we needed. We felt very safe and the vehicle was safe. Would definitely stay there again. See you soon!
Beautiful apartment with everything you need. Nico and Antionette warmly welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. The accommodation is close enough to all Harties shops and eateries. We will definitely visit again.
Waterside Rest Cottage absolutely lived up to our expectations! The atmosphere was relaxed and the setting was peaceful. We immediately felt at home. The unit was clean and tidy. The electric fence was a little disturbing, but definitely helped to make us feel very safe! Many thanks also for the milk in the fridge which made a cup of coffee taste really good after a long journey!

Great, peaceful place for relaxing.
Although we only spent 1 night there, it almost felt like a long weekend. The peaceful atmosphere was so nice and we didn't want to drive. We will definitely book at Waterside Rest Cottage again. The name says it all - relax by the water and you're sure to feel rested.
I will definitely come back. Nice! Need to get a TV though and a cleaner.
Riverside cottage offers peace and quiet. The surroundings are very good and the setup of the cottage feels like home away from home.
The cottage is serene and a lovely getaway from the buzz of the city but with a good proximity to all facilities.
Had a nice welcome from the owner and very friendly too! The place was very beautiful, so peaceful and had a homely feel. We really enjoyed our stay and had a proper rest. The place was so safe and close to all the amnesties. The kids had fun as well! Thank you for such a wonderful time my family and I had.
