The second bedroom contains a double bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. These 2 rooms share a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table. The lounge features a flat-screen TV with DStv, and opens to a balcony deck with built-in braai facilities, overlooking the water. There is no garage. Guests park on parking no 5 in the parking area opposite the garage door and more on the pavement next to the complex.
The Marina Martinique complex offers a communal swimming pool that guests can make use of. There is also a jungle gym and playground for children on the beach close to the unit.

We had a wonderful stay, thank you. Please check the towel rails in the bathrooms, they need some attention.
The Canals 05 is a very neat and comfortable house with a nice view of the canals. We had a wonderful stay. The owner may only pay attention to the master bedroom's bed and mattress. The power assistance was sufficient during load shedding.

The Canal 05 was absolutely amazing. Having the water on your doorstep was heaven sent. Peaceful nights and the sea-breeze in summer was better than any fan could ever bring. The place has a beautiful setup and makes for a comforting stay. Only small issue we had was there was no ladder in front of the apartment to climb in or out of lagoon, we had to use the neighbour's ladder further down. We would recommend The Canal 05 without a doubt. We will definitely return to The Canal 05.
The unit was comfortable and pleasant. I would recommend it. The only problem was that the UPS System was not functioning at the time of our visit.
Safe and clean. Everything you need.
Firstly, I emailed and called my Lekerslaap agent to confirm the garage and parking space they advised we have a single garage and a parking and that is perfect no problem. The garage was build closed and over packed with household items and no space for a car to fit in. And the parking was already filled with a trailer. This is without notifying me that the cars will be standing outside the yard far away. The house doesn't have any utensils or bowls for our braai. And no opener to open any tins. The place is over packed with furniture and no space to relax and just chill. No black bags to put the rubbish in and we had to buy black bags. It wasn't a pleasent stay and I won't go back to canals 05 again.
The best place to be to rest and spend time with your family and friends.
Friendly reception and was called in advance. Clean and tidy and equipped with everything one would need. The location is excellent and on the water. Some of the friendly people who live in the area even offered to take us on their boat. Can definitely be recommended. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone.
We had a wonderful stay in The Canals 05. The unit was spotless and spacious enough for our family of 4. We received very good service from Hannes at Watersideliving. However, there are a few things that bothered: There is no umbrella on the patio, so one can only sit on the patio from late afternoon as there is no shade. There are feather duvets on the beds and no fan or air conditioning in the bedrooms, which makes it very hot, especially in December. When there is loadshedding, there is no hot water. It was extremely inconvenient. Fortunately, the owner visited the property and explained to us how the inverter that is in the garage works. The unit has direct access to the canal in which you can swim. Our family also enjoyed the kayak that was available to us. Very cute place.
The unit is beautiful, clean and safe with all the necessary amenities. Beautiful view of the canal. Will definitely want to use the accommodation again and can highly recommend it.

We were met at the gate by Myrtle Haystek and she escorted us to the unit and showed us how everything worked. Absolutely friendly reception.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. It is wonderful decorated and has a nice balcony and access to the canal. It has a small gate which makes it safe with young children that they can’t move into the water. The contact was nice and helpful.
Friendly guest and very nice and tidy accommodation with all the facilities one would need. Definitely a recommendation for as a getaway destination.

Please note that guests may be asked to vacate the premises immediately if they fail to adhere to the house rules or complex regulations. Guests may be held liable for any fines or penalties that occur as a result of not complying with the rules.A maximum of 4 guests per 2 bedroom unit and 6 guests per 3 bedroom unit are allowed.
Only 1 parking bay and 1 set of keys are available.
No pets are allowed.
Guests enter the premises at their own risk and, upon booking at the establishment, agree that the owner or agent will not be held liable for any injury, loss, damages, or inconvenience suffered. The right of admission is reserved.
The inventory file in each unit must be checked by guests. All items in the unit have been reviewed by the staff. The unit's contents will be regarded as correct, and the tenants will be held responsible for any shortages or breakages on vacating the premises unless reported in writing to the office within 12 hours after the arrival. In the event of any appliance being out of order, we cannot be held liable for the replacement thereof.
No day visitors are allowed.
Booked guests must park in their allocated parking bay.
Under no circumstances may any items/furniture be taken to another unit. Items not in the unit will be regarded as missing, and the applicant will have to pay for them, even if it is found in another unit.
Suppose there is a swimming pool in the complex for you to enjoy, please, no boogie boards or motor car tubes in the pool. Kids may not hang on to the gate and fence.
No loud music, noise or loud talking is allowed. No parties or gatherings are permitted.
Daily cleaning services, excluding Sundays and public holidays, can be arranged. Laundry services can be arranged. Please enquire accordingly. Only cleaning services of Excellent quality are allowed in the unit. No private cleaning services will be allowed.
Premises will be checked after departure.
