Beautiful historic home with friendly host and hostess!
Stan and Bernadette were the most delightful hosts. Note to the website, please review your directions. They are very confusing. The best way to get to Welgeluk is to leave Oudtshoorn via the R62 towards Calitzdorp and to turn onto the R328 (Safari Pad) towards Mossel Bay.
They are pleasant farmers who still have a lot to learn about Guesthouse Management and especially when they are so expensive.
We had a wonderful stay at Welgeluk Feather Palace. The historical building and beautiful interior transport you to a different era. Bernadette and Stan went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
