We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Weltevrede. Hostess and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Meals were great and a backpack was packed if you couldn't be at breakfast.
Fantastic hospitality!
This is really the recommended, value for money, stop if anyone is planning to go to Sossusvlei. There are also other activities on Weltevrede.

We had a great stay, the service was great! Delicious dinners and for our visit to Sossusvlei a delicious picnic lunch was provided. Will definitely come back again!
Everything was clean and tidy and we had a really lovely stay.
This is a lovely place to rest and relax and the accommodation is tidy. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. Everyone was friendly and helpful and Marletta is an excellent hostess to all the guests.

Stayed and ate very well, really good food in the morning and in the evening, but very far to drive and the dirt roads cost us 2 tires.
We arrived too early, but were welcomed with warm hospitality. Was able to relax wonderfully in beautiful, comfortable and cool facilities. Room is very comfortable, view beautiful and dinner delicious. Highly recommend Weltevrede Gasteplaas.
Weltevrede is 48 km from Sesriem entrance gate. You can be in the park early and go dune climbing.
Friendly helpful people, the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine, the food is real peasant food and can hold a candle to the best restaurants.
It was a wonderful farm experience that we will never forget. Wish we could visit longer.
The accommodation was close to Sossusvlei and Sesriem and on the way to Walvis Bay. The hostess Mariletta was very friendly and helpful. If the opportunity arises we will stay there again.
We expected a self-catering unit but then found out there are no cooking facilities in the units. The dinner, breakfast packs and coffee facilities in the central lapa made up for it. There was Wifi available but the line speed was hopeless as we couldn't post even one photo on social media.
I would highly recommend this farm and encourage everyone to support the local farms first. It was good value for money and very peaceful with a friendly host. We were very impressed with the packed breakfast that they offer and have ready for you when leaving early for Sussosvlei. The dinners were delicious 'boerekos' farm meals. The units are simple, almost rustic, but very clean and comfortable. We woke up in the middle of the night and saw zebra, buck, a fox, and a rabbit at different times drinking at the small waterhole not too far from the porch. We enjoyed the swimming pool after a long day in the Namibian heat.
