Four Seasons House has 4 en suite rooms and each bathroom has a shower. The house sleeps 8 to 10 guests. Two of the bedrooms each have a double bed and the other two bedrooms each have 2 single beds. There are also 2 single sofa beds on the mezzanine.
Big Five has 3 bedrooms. The bedroom on the ground floor has a queen-sized bed and there are 2 bedrooms on the upper floor, each with a double bed and 2 single beds. These rooms are ideal for families. The house has a wheelchair-friendly bathroom and a bathroom with a bath on the ground floor. The upstairs bathroom only has a toilet. The house is ideal for 10 guests and extra mattresses can be arranged on request.
Each unit has its own plunge pool and a braai area, a kitchenette with a fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave and deep freezer. Both houses have gas geysers. There are fans in all rooms and free Wi-Fi is available. The lodge is child-friendly, with cots on request and a small play area with a swing and sand pit. The braai facilities and splash pool are cleaned Monday to Saturday free of charge.

Will definitely book the place again, neat place and friendly people, always willing to help. Four spacious rooms, each with its own toilet and shower. Might just later recommend putting doors in front of the bathrooms, for more privacy.
I will never stay at another place in Marloth Park. Everything at Weltevrede met our expectations. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
As good friends, we are going to get away for our Easter weekend almost every year after this. The place is comfortable and we always have a good time here. Everything needed is available. They were able to help us out with an extra night at very short notice and made it all convenient for us. They are also open to constructive criticism and have made a number of small improvements to make the house more comfortable. If we book in time, we will visit again next year.
We really enjoyed the weekend, could cool off in the swimming pool and the animals that moved between and near the houses are something special!

We were met by Elaine, who instantly made us feel welcome. The unit was clean and very spacious. The splash pool was clean. On arrival at the unit, we had tea, coffee, cremora and rusks awaiting us. We will most definitely be visiting Weltevrede Lodge again in the future.
Ons het self 'n gaste huis in JHB en ons beleid is "Home away from home". Met ons aankoms is ons ingelig dat ons vir die TV-gebruik, die WiFi en die aircon moet betaal. In watter leeftyd betaal mens vir die gebruik van kanaal 1, 2, en 3 betaal. Die koste was R30 per dag vir die TV. Ons het R60 se vouchers gekoop vir die aircon in een kamer en dit het presies 'n dag en 'n aand gehou. Ek stel voor hulle bou die bedrae in die tarief in, of ten minste waarsku 'n mens dat jy al hierdie ekstra onkoste gaan hê. Ek voel daar moet na gaste gekyk word en hulle nie uitbuit nie. Daar was foto's op die site van 'n view. Daar was geen view nie. Sal beslis vir niemand aanbeveel nie.
We went to Weltevrede Lodge for our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. The house and braai area was nice and clean on arrival. The setup of the house is great. It has a pool which was great in the heat and it is next to the braai - so we enjoyed having a braai and cooling off in the pool. We saw a few tame animals that came to the fence and we fed them with the pellets that Weltevrede Lodge was kind enough to give us. The Big 5 House is definitely big enough for a large family getaway or a 2 person trip. They will definitely see us again, this time on a family trip to fill that huge house!
If only the house was cleaned before we checked in - the house had spider webs and the swimming pool was dirty.
