We slept over at one of Welvanpas' rooms on the way to the sea. There is a nice big lawn on the farmyard where the children could run around. The room was very well equipped and we slept well. We ate our road food for dinner, so didn't order any of the place's meals. I can really recommend the place to anyone who wants to spend the night on their way to the coast.

Peace and quiet at night, with enough comfort of home to make it feel like home. The menu (dinner) had variety and all 4 dishes we had as a family were tasty. The pool was a nice refreshing end to a hot day.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. The farm is far enough from the main road that you don't hear cars, but close enough to continue your journey. Overnight facilities for people with and without caravans. Meals from the books (dinner and breakfast) are well priced. Remember to book in advance. Rooms are nicely and stylishly furnished, clean and even small things like mosquito repellents are available for guests. Our 3 small dogs traveled together and we were able to go for a walk with them to channelize their energy for the long journey. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will use them again in the future.

A holiday without accommodation at Welvanpas Guestfarm does not feel like a holiday. It is the most beautiful farm with plenty of play space for the children and top-shelf food!
We did only sleep over, but we were very impressed with how at home they made us feel. The food was incredibly tasty and definitely value for money. I would recommend Welvanpas Guestfarm to everyone. We will definitely visit there if we get the chance.

Our family left Mossel Bay in the late afternoon. Rita waited for us to serve dinner, despite the time. Her hospitality and friendly atmosphere ensure that we will stay here more often.
We stayed 1 night on the way to Jeffreys Bay and everything was wonderful. We were kindly welcomed on our arrival and were able to go for a lovely walk on the farm, dinner was very well prepared and very good value for money. Everyone was very friendly and we will definitely use their services again.

Welvanpas was a very positive surprise and overnight experience in a well-maintained, neat farmhouse with its lush green summer lawns, sparkling swimming pool and delicious meals (optional). We will definitely want to use it again.
Lovely surroundings. We camped there. Bathrooms are spotless and tidy. Lawn where we camped is grass green. That's lovely! Will stay there every time. I can only suggest that you leave a mop in the bathroom so that you can dry the shower cubicle when you have finished showering.

So sorry to say that this accommodation is very basic in its totality. There is no 'warmth' or 'flair' in the rooms or house except for spotlessly clean, soft white towels and the room was comfortably warm. The food was edible with the lamb overcooked. "Passion" seems to be lacking at this establishment and there is nothing 'cozy' about it. The property, however, has heaps and heaps of potential which makes it all the more sad that it's not loved. Pity! (The photos are representative but when you see them in their totality, it's disappointing. On our return trip, we booked elsewhere) The hostess was however helpful with information and cordial.

Excellent performance for those long drives between Gauteng and the Garden Route and Eastern Cape! Arrived there after sunset and was warmly welcomed by the owner. Enjoyed a delicious dinner and admired the beautiful starry sky before we could crawl under warm blankets. Lovely farm surroundings surrounded by mountains greeted us the next morning. We would highly recommend this safe place to stay.

The food is top notch and I would recommend the venison pie anytime. My first choice for an overnight stay on the way from Pretoria to George!

We were warmly welcomed despite arriving early. The room was neat and clean. I was impressed with the bathroom - there was plenty of hanging space for towels and storage space. There are enough power plugs available at the bedside tables. The dinner was an absolute treat! Rita and her team know how to entertain.

We were very satisfied with the Welvanpas Guestfarm, because it is a nice place with green grass to pitch our tent. The bathrooms were very neat and clean and it helps a lot if you've been on the road all day and you can take a nice shower in hot water and relax. Would love to come into the rooms and have dinner there instead next time.

They made us feel very welcome - The unit was clean and tidy. Leaking hot water for shower. There was tea, ordinary and rooibos and coffee, milk and sugar, so before we unpacked, we could first enjoy a refreshment on the house. The farm is beautiful and the most stars I have ever seen in the sky. We were also able to drive around the farm and admire the surroundings a bit. We would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay if you are driving far.
