35 guests' feedbackFantastic, excellent customer service. The host contacted me before our arrival to inform me that there was heavy rain coming, which would make the farm stay very unpleasant. He offered me a refund or alternative accommodation in town. The accommodation in town was fantastic, right on the beach.
My newlywed wife and I just had our honeymoon weekend at West Coast Quarry and people, it was fun for you! Terribly beautiful place and Albert welcomed us so well. My wife and I are going to visit there again soon. It's incredibly beautiful. Ps: For those who forgot a thing or two, the kitchen is equipped with literally everything.
It was wonderfully peaceful, with the most beautiful sunset and beautiful flowers. It is a place where you can find yourself again, away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Fudge (the owners' Jack Russell) is the best tour guide ever! He showed us all the short paths through the field.

Plus, it's surrounded by some of the coast's most beautiful scenery - a romantic getaway, a break from city life or a quest for a simpler life, the West Coast (Quarry) remains our number 1! West Coast Quarry/Hokkie/Grotjie/Spotjie - one as lovely as the other! My lover and I have now visited this special place for almost our 5th time. It's our secret escape from the city - a throwback type of place, the kind that makes you want to move to the West Coast. From day one we were obsessed with this unique place - simple with only the necessary. There are the nicest braai/hangout places (with a view too!) and everything is spotless - an eye for detail is certainly lent. The area boasts romantic vantage points that look out over the prettiest pockets of sun - if you look closely, you might spot a spring hare or two among the guinea fowl. The owner, Albert, and his wife are too friendly. They make a point to consider you and make sure everything is just right. Thank you West Coast Quarry for another unforgettable weekend. We feel rested, inspired and ready for the new year!
If you want to break away from the normal, this is the place for you. Away from all the busy tourists but still close enough to visit all the sights, sea and restaurants. Close to Muisboskerm open air restaurant which is a must.
This is a visit that every traveler along the West Coast must experience. From the accommodation to the environment. We will definitely recommend to others.
The caravan we stayed in was so cute and the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. One can really relax among the tranquility of the rocks and farm around you. There is also a nice walking trail that shows you the rock art of ancient times and the whole history of the place is really interesting. Will definitely recommend.

Very peaceful and quiet, away from city life. Nice paths on the farm to walk around. The bushman cave was a pleasant experience and I really like the bushman drawings that are at the West Coast Query. There are lots of badgers that welcome you when you arrive at the place, very cute.
Very clean, well maintained kitchen and clean bathrooms. Beautiful views with clean sunsets and sunrises. Would have like some assurance that area security was fine as we were the only ones in the location.

The rock art was an experience to see. Aunt Kitta at Die Plaaskumbuis told us about the farm and ghosts. We will be back.

It was great! It was breathtakingly beautiful and beautiful, the prefect getaway to get quiet and become human again. I will come again!
The facilities are very well furnished and tidy. The tents were replaced with cabins which was a nice surprise. There are nice walking routes and lots of animals and birds that can be seen from the porch. It is very very quiet and peaceful.
We want to go back again as soon as possible.

Our visit was very nice and comfortable. We brought too much stuff. The place is very well equipped and one really needs to pack minimally. Environment is very beautiful and scenery is refreshing.
It was an exceptional stay! The fine detail in how the kitchen and bathroom are decorated will always stay with me! The cleanliness, beauty and unadornedness of the surroundings make this a definite place to return to. The facilities were neat and clean and personal! It was extremely safe even for me as an older single woman! The warmth with which I was welcomed was exceptional, and, yes, the private stone-formed swimming pool was truly my favorite place to visit!
The West Coast Quarry is definitely the ideal place to escape from the busy city rush. It's nice to listen to the different birds and to see the animals (turtle, ibex, hares and little gray mouse dog) on the farm. We appreciated the owner being available but giving us our space.

Weather was bad but we still enjoyed it. Our little girl slept in a tent with us, but if you don't like small spaces, this isn't going to work for you. We got a camp feel without all the camp trappings. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom helped.
It was truly a unique experience and enjoyed every moment. The space and silence in superlative degree. The ideal place for head cleaning, adventure and the hospitality indescribable.
