Great facilities and location. Everything you need for a great weekend. I would have liked to have known in advance that you can only barbecue with charcoal (or that there is no barbecue in which you can barbecue with wood), but that did not hold us back. I will definitely go again!
Beautiful location and view.
We were really very disappointed. The photos are not a correct depiction of the place. The place is neglected, the living room sofa was torn, there are cockroaches, black slime mold around the bath, chair broken from the outer table and we didn't enjoy the rat in the garden either. Christmas day was something else, the gas braai was empty, the Weber braai's lower part is not there, causing coals to fall straight through, but used the gas oven. If you do use the Jacuzzi, note that you don't get clean water every day. Take enough detergent and washing powder with you. The caretaker also uses your washing powder to wash the towels and linen. One feels as if you are being watched all the time with the family staying in the outer room. The view is indeed breathtaking and contributes a lot to the good location of the premises.
The accommodation was more than I expected. Comfortable style and not feeling like I'm at someone's home, but on a holiday. My sister and husband immediately booked for his birthday and I had to make a video because a lot of my friends and family are interested. The location isn't far but it feels like I'm on an island far away from civilization. Joseph and his family was extremely helpful and kind just made the stay extra special.
The kids and wife enjoyed the Jacuzzi, pool and private beach access. 1 TV is a restriction as it drizzled late Saturday afternoon and the kids hogged the TV with the play station on a weekend of rugby 7's, English soccer.
The accommodation was excellent and everything was off the books. The pool and Jacuzzi a bonus. Josef is a wonderful and good person and it was wonderful to get to know him. Even though it was very windy, it didn't bother us at all. Will definitely use your accommodation again.
It was very nice. Will stay there again.
