Only stayed one night for work purposes. Johan's communication beforehand was very good in terms of checking in himself. He also made very good recommendations for restaurants. Liggie is provided for loadshedding.
We were invited to a wedding at Boesmanland Farm Kitchen. There were many places we could stay, but for me it was too busy. We were looking for a quiet place where we could stay and I saw WestBed's ad and it was the ideal place in the ideal environment for us. We were very impressed with our stay. The microwave, kettle and fridge were a plus - as were the complimentary coffee and tea. However, we drink a lot of coffee and have replenished our stock and just kept extra milk and drinks in the fridge. It was great to have DSTV for the few minutes we might want to watch something - and the free WiFi was an absolute bonus. We decided to explore Langebaan and also support its restaurants. WestBed is close to everything and it was nice to be part of the happy atmosphere. We didn't get lost either - thanks to Google Maps and didn't hesitate to just take the road, because we would get back to WestBed. Even the load shedding didn't bother us - we slept very well and felt safe with our car not parked in the street either, but opposite our entrance in the yard. Johan is an excellent host! It was also nice to be able to chat with him in Afrikaans. He had our best interests at heart and often asked if we needed anything else. He even sent us Eskom's load shedding times on WhatsApp which helped us with our planning. We will definitely stop by WestBed again, should we go in that direction again or just want to relax a bit. Thank you very much, Johan for an unforgettable time!

The accommodation was clean, safe, and laid out nicely. The area in which it was located was very quiet and beautiful.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood - quite difficult to find (without GPS). It is ideal for shorter periods. Very compact - may be claustrophobic for longer periods. Although "off street" parking, my car was the only one in the immediate area parked outside. Would stay there again for a day or two.

We had a great stay but were unfortunately not informed about the loadshedding. I had to teach and then had no internet because of the load shedding does not. Maybe just warn future guests that there is no power during loadshedding. Place is beautiful.

As a visitor, you knew exactly before arrival, during your stay and departure. Although it has a self-check-in option that was communicated in advance via WhatsApp, Johan was there himself upon our arrival and welcomed us kindly and told us not to hesitate to ask if we needed anything. The area is safe and quiet. The unit is super neat and well equipped. Ideal spot for a quick getaway.

Quiet area close enough to town. Very nice clean facilities.
Johan received us excellently, we even prayed together. The unit as well as the braai area were exceptionally neat. We especially enjoyed the bookshelf, not to mention the biscuits. The location is fantastic, and very safe. WestBed is definitely a MUST if you visit Langebaan and spend the night there.

On arrival Johan met me, we went into the unit together to make sure everything was ok, made sure I had enough towels, where extra blankets were and also provided my preference of coffee and sugar. The room is spacious and more than enough seating in the open plan living room and kitchen, the walls are joyful with different portraits. I would definitely recommend WestBed to anyone, for the price I got a lot more than I expected. I booked a place with a view of the lagoon. This place was inside the town. 4 km from the coast with no view of the sea. The photos were a misrepresentation. I planned a romantic weekend. Not a room with 4 walls and no braai facilities and view. I feel it was a total waste of money. The room was neat. There are no barbecue facilities in the rooms. Not as shown in photos. We were really disappointed and feel we wasted our money.
We really enjoyed it. Would suggest anyone to stay here.

What a wonderful place with an equally wonderful host, Johan. I was pleasantly surprised when he made contact with me directly once website had confirmed the booking. He sent me the location and other useful information we required, even sending me links of various places of interest in and around Langebaan. Our accommodation was tastefully decorated, stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, etc - we even had a washing machine at our disposal! Everything was clean, neat and tidy.

WestBed has all the amenities and is very convenient. It is also located close to all shopping centres which is very convenient.
Johan is such a friendly and accommodating host. He is such an informative and resourceful guy who knows Langebaan and surrounds inside out. All the small personal touches when we entered the cottage was beautiful. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. It’s central and close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The owner, he's nice and friendly and helped us a lot by sending us restaurants addresses and directions by phone. Helped us find the nearest super market. He really wanted us to feel comfortable and at home. The studio is brand new in a new development around a golf course. It is less than 5 minutes away from the seafront and or the Strandloper Restaurant. The bed his huge and really comfortable as well. Don't hesitate when you are in Langebaan to go to this new, wonderful place.
Would like to see at least a small fridge to keep milk and drinks cold. Coffee and tea are provided but how do we keep milk etc. cold. You usually bring drinks with you if you know there are self-catering facilities. There is an oven, microwave and dishwasher, but no soap for cups etc. not to wash. No TV or at least then a radio. Other than that it was very nice.
