The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with bathtub, toilet and shower, which directly leads to the balcony. The other 2 bedrooms contain double beds. The second bathroom contains a bathtub, toilet and a shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven and hob, washing machine and kettle. The lounge suite is full leather, reclines comfortably and there is a TV. The lounge leads onto a terrace with a partial sea view, a large patio table, and braai facilities. Due to load shedding, back up lights have been installed and also a gas cooker has been provided.
The Whale Rock complex has a communal swimming pool and offers direct beach access from the pool area. Guests will have access to secure parking as well as additional covered parking. Parking is behind remote controlled gates.
Whale Rock is located in close proximity to Margate's main beach, which offers seasonal entertainment, a selection of restaurants, cocktail bars and family activities. Margate is one of the great vacation spots in South Africa. Thanks to its beautiful coastline, varied holiday resorts in Margate, some right on the beach, warm water and an exciting atmosphere. The place was amazing, and I would book it again.
It is a quiet place, secure place, with everything you would expect in a home. All amenities are within walking distance.
The accommodation met my expectations, was a bit 'loud' some evenings.
The apartment needs to have some serious cleaning done, both showers show signs of rampant black mold. Neither of the basins in the bathrooms holds water. The table in the lounge has one leg broken off completely and so is very unstable. The oven baking tray was full of grease and the oven could do with a serious clean.
I enjoyed the place. I will come back for another holiday. Save my space.

Our stay was pleasant. They must consider using a professional or well-trained staff for cleaning services.
It was a nice retreat, it would be nice if there were cleaning services, didn't like having to make my own bed.
The accommodation was nice, however, the pictures on the website and the actual one were completely different. We had issues with the water supply and couldn't get ahold of the owner/agent to get the keys. The oven was dirty upon arrival and we found chocolates in the lounge seats. The property has no security whatsoever. We constantly had uninvited guests entering the property with tow trucks doing burnouts in the property and making a noise. There are also some of the neighbours that disobey the complex rules with beer bottles in the pool and non-stop loud music. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend but with a bit more attention to the issues I'm sure this would be a lovely place to stay. But for now, I wouldn't go back again.

Location was great and the flat was beautiful and very well furnished.
It's a beautiful place. Very, very clean. Shops are within walking distance. Host was very kind, he explained everything over the phone because we were running late. The check-out time was OK. Two things they must sort. WiFi and DStv because WiFi was only connecting to one cell phone. There is no DStv, we had to connect with a cell phone to Netflix. If the next guests don't know anything about Netflix, that would be a big problem. Please make sure you pay breakage deposits back in time. Thanks.
I will definitely refer anyone to take that place.
