Whale Waters is a 3 storey self-catering house with an open-plan lounge and dining area. This lodge offers 8 rooms individually decorated, all with en-suite bathrooms, bar fridges, and lock-up safes, and 4 of the rooms have air-conditioning. Rooms 1, 2 and 8 each comprise 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Rooms 3, 6 and 7 each contain a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. Rooms 4 and 5 each comprise 1 single bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with all the appliances you will need like a fridge, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. The house has a built-in braai leading out to the veranda and a swimming pool, all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
In Gansbaai, guests can find whales, dolphins, seals, penguins, and great white sharks all in one trip. There are also many other activities from Kayaking to horse riding on the beach. Gansbaai Golf Club is also in close proximity.

15 guests' feedbackEverything at the house was amazing and all convenience was catered for in the household facilities. Cleanliness was too notch! 1 room had damp carpet but there was adverse weather in the western cape during our stay.
The house is beautiful, well equipped and clean. Gorgeous views. The host was very helpful and professional. Thank you to the cleaning ladies also. A small walk down to the beach where we took excellent sunset pictures, the boys fished and kids played on the beach. My only gripe is that of the 2 single rooms, one is outside of the house so we could not really use it, and the other is behind the scullery, more like old servants' quarters, so not so nice to put a family member away from all the other bedrooms. But that was just our dynamics. It could work for others but nice to know before you go. I would still definitely book this house again. It is very beautiful, comfortable and convenient.
He had a group of 12 and there was enough of everything in the house to accommodate us. Maid service was excellent, so no cleaning up. We just had lots of fun partying the whole night with music and lights. Generator was a God send. Thank you Sonia, our meet and greet lady. What an amazing, awesome person.

A beautiful house with everything you need! From an ice machine, hairdryers in the rooms, each room with its own TV, to a heated swimming pool. Truly a top class home!
The view over the ocean is stunning. The big kitchen, seating and dining room is the ideal place to socialise, even when the weather doesn't play along. Thank you so much for the good wishes and special attention to the two birthdays in the group.
The best place we have ever held our hen party as friends. The house is more beautiful than beautiful. The view and the heated pool are a bonus. The manager, Sonja and the office lady, Chanya are the most helpful and kindest people I have ever worked with, 10 out of 10 for you!
