Amy has such a heart of gold and she made us feel so welcomed. Travelling with young kids can be challenging but Whalers made it seem so easy. Thank you. Whalers is definitely a winner. We loved the fact that no one had to wait to take a shower or use the restroom, as all rooms have its own full bathroom. The home is so clean and everything we needed was just there. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you to Amy for the open and friendly welcome and hospitality. A definite go again.

Everything was clean, tidy and in good condition. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. The pool table was a winner.
My mother-in-law was in South Africa in January and she thoroughly enjoyed Hermanus and the Guest House. The owner was very professional and we were there for almost a week and only saw her when we checked in and it was awesome.
We spend a fantastic weekend in this beautiful, fully-equipped home! 10/10 rating from myself and all my guests! We are already planning our next visit!

From the moment we walked into Whaler's, Amy made sure we felt welcome and that everything was in place. All the rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. We spent most of our time in the living area where the pool table provided extra fun. We enjoyed every minute and are truly grateful. Will definitely go back again.
Excellent place for a long holiday or even a quick weekend getaway. Neat and clean and fully equipped, so you only need to pack your food and clothes. Very impressed with Whalers Self-Catering.
We had a great time place is situated conveniently close to amenities and to the beach. Also the house was stocked with whatever we needed.
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Whalers Self catering! It's a big house with big bathrooms. The living room has an indoor braai and pool table. It kept the men busy. The outdoor grill and pool was a bonus! The kitchen is small but has everything you need, including a dishwasher with soap. It made hanging out with our friends a lot easier! Thank you so much, Amy! I would definitely recommend it to a group of friends or family who want to have a good time together!

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we misunderstood was the TV. There are DStv facilities, but only for the very first decoders that came out. Maybe it should just be indicated that way. So our Explora didn't work, but luckily we had a laptop to be able to watch the rugby (Goats vs Australia).
This was our third time at Whalers and we will definitely go again. We really enoyed our stay there with friends. It's clean, neat and spacious. The shower's pressure is not the best, but everything was neat and clean.
House was neat, but needs a makeover in the lounge. The oven is not working properly. Overall very spacious!

The house is perfect for a group of friends over the holiday season. The braai facilities are very good, as well as the place to sleep. I will definitely stay there again.
We had a good stay and the pool is lovely. The rooms are clean and neat - though I personally think that the family room would benefit from a makeover.
