Best place I've ever stayed in PE. The staff is super efficient and nice, cleanliness up to standard. We were accommodated in a way that was never expected. We had lots of fun.
I enjoyed the happy environment and the property had facilities that accommodate a healthy and comfortable stay right through my stay.
The host was great and made u feel welcome and made sure that u feel comfortable.
Aunty Sashee and uncle Naidoo are the most wonderful hosts we have ever experienced. Both are warm, and welcoming, and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. The unit accommodates 2 children and 3 adults in 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, and appliances like a kettle, microwave, and iron are provided. We had our own braai area and easy access to the pool. The cleaning service is exceptional. Huge thank you to the lady who took care of our unit. Coming back to an impeccably clean unit every day was truly a blessing. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to a clean beach. The location is peaceful and tranquil. Shops are nearby. Central town is a mere 15mins away. We will highly recommend staying with Mr and Mrs Naidoo. We were very sad to depart. A piece of our hearts will always be with Whales Way Lodge.

According to the photos of the booked room there would be a sea view and the room itself is very small. The room then was the farthest and looked out on the dog kennels. The aircon was rusty. TV channels did not work. Refrigerator was not plugged in and on. Swimming pool was then covered.
Really enjoyed it. Will stay again for sure. Lovely hosts.

My wife and I would definitely stay there again, it's clean, quiet and tidy near the city, but not in the city and the hostess is one fantastic person.

The huge problem was the cleanliness of the house. The cutlery, crockery, glasses and pots were oily. Some even had dirty marks still on them, you can see that it was not washed in sunlight liquid. It was really awful, we didn't eat there or cook at all. Also the bedding and the frills on the beds are so dirty. The wash basins had dirty rings right around. I didn't even want to brush my teeth in it. The place is so spacious and nice but cleanliness means a lot and it's a health factor as well. I will not go there again or refer anyone unless I know that they have improved 100%.
If you are looking for spacious accommodation for a group of 20 people then Whales Way Lodge is the place. It is well equipped and all rooms are comfortable. Our hosts made it possible for us to enjoy our stay.
They had everything we were looking for, but more than half of it was not as advertised. There is a braai, but can't use it and it cost us a lot to eat out. Pool was closed and only after we asked to use it we were able to swim on the sixth day of our seven day holiday, but in a dirty pool. Get broken bath towels, water pipes make a lot of noise, everything in the chalet is mismatched. Sofa covers very dirty. Advertise satellite TV but there is only Openview. Advertise all the rooms have aircon and vans, but only the master bedroom does. We had to drive very far every day to get to the main beach. We paid a lot and are really unhappy about the stay. They can really pay attention to finer detail!

Regarding that we confirmed that we were coming, our rooms were not ready when we checked in. It appeared as if people were confused. It's just a stopover.
