From our arrival to our departure we were taken care of, very friendly and helpful.
The room (loft) was massive with a breathtaking view. The hot tub was a lovely treat. We were kindly received and the breakfast was fantastic, we couldn't eat it all. We went for a walk along the beach and would definitely like to stay overnight again.

Beautiful space, great breakfast, great views but would not recommend. The hosts were unwelcoming and their phones are on loud so you hear the calls and WhatsApp pings very clearly. The garden room was very loud at night, you hear other guests, staff and every creak from the house. The bed is also on a slope so I did not enjoy the sleep.

Guesthouses with bright exterior lights throughout the night. Should invest in "block out" at the curtains. The lights make the room dim throughout the night - especially with those white curtains. So "block out" that one can pull would work well. Safety gate or Trellidoor is essential - would like to sleep with door open for sea air and sound but a little careful. If people sleep under another room with wooden floors, then you hear quite a lot of movements and moves and shoes falling. But probably can't leave note for them to be considerate. The room was well appointed. TV is another story - couldn't get it to work but probably because I don't understand Openview - no note on how it works.

The hospitality of the owners was excellent. They go to great lengths to offer you a good visit during a difficult time for the industry. Their breakfast is top notch and their attention to detail is amazing. They make you feel like it's your own home by the sea.

There was no cutlery in our room apart from coffee mugs, 2 teaspoons and glasses. No plates, small plates, knives or forks.

We were warmly and kindly welcomed and we even got an upgrade for free to a warmer room, which is more luxurious. It was very comfortable and relaxing with the sound of the sea in your ears all night. We had a wonderful overnight stay and also sat down to a hearty breakfast the next morning.

Lovely, luxury accommodation. You can sit and relax while you admire the sea view, or just chill in the Jacuzzi. A big breakfast is served on the deck early in the morning on sunny days. You don't have to worry with a hostess like Leonie! Lovely, we will definitely go again!

Very nice view and the room was neat and spacious. However, the place needs attention and staff also need to pay attention to certain details. Large spot/stain on the carpet. Bathroom switch not working. Soap dispensers for both shower and sinks were empty. TV only has 4 channels with a good picture, and most of the time the hostess who also lives there changed the channel in the middle of a program. Summary: not a bad place, my experience is that there are other places in the area that offer more value for money.
Many examples of building neglect, poorly maintained garden, loose curtains, damaged blinds, etc. Very poorly stocked bar fridge, no complimentary water, jet-bath not working, some lights not working, etc. Given the cost of accommodation this was an overall disappointment.
This place is a total disappointment for the price. We booked a room and didn't receive any benefits from the guesthouse. The place is locked so that one can not make use of the lounge or the kitchen. The Jacuzzi can also not be used because the house is locked. Our guests who came to visit us, had to sit in the room because the house was locked. The room was only serviced after 13:00 every day. The wooden floors on the top floor caused us to lie awake til late because of the noise. The noise from the washing room next door was also a problem.
