The dining area is ideally situated between the kitchen, indoor fireplace and lounge to allow for free-flow conversation.
The loft area provides a second living area and is furnished with 2 large couches, a smart TV with Netflix and DSTV. Upstairs there are double doors that open onto the patio with braai facilities, which overlooks Jacobsbaai towards the sea. A separate, outside staircase leads up to this patio and loft. It was our first time on the West Coast and it was a great experience. Our stay was perfect and although the house was not on the sea it was only a short walk away. We will definitely visit again.

We were just adults and the layout with hanging out areas was perfect, as well as the two braai place options and TV separate from the main hanging out area.
Definitely recommendable. Ideal location if you want to explore the West Coast. Calm, safe and clean. Without driving far you will find everything to entertain the whole family. Mountain bikes ideal. Enough routes to drive, jog and walk. Good camera a must. Stay away from drones. Karen, Lientjie and Chris made an enormous effort to ensure that everything ran smoothly and were always available. No unnecessary interaction. No one bothers. A spacious comfortable home. This destination is definitely saved for the future.

The house is spacious, clean and very well equipped. Guests can hang out inside or outside. Our hostess (Lientjie) was great. Whimseagull is highly recommended.
Place was very neat. The person who met us at the house was very hospitable and friendly. The house itself was very lovely and full of space.
We loved our stay at Whimseagull. The open plan layout in the kitchen, dining and living areas downstairs works well. The giant fire place/indoor braai area in the dining room is a huge bonus.

The pictures do not do the place justice. Spacious, tidy house with all the amenities you need. Comfortable beds, large spacious kitchen, nice living area above and below. Oom Cassie who we received is also a summary of West Coast friendliness.

We found the house to be perfect for a group of 5 adults in 3 bedrooms. Enough bathroom facilities thanks to the guest toilet. Kitchen and living area is spacious and well equipped. Very clean and beautiful home! Truly worth the money.
