Very friendly owner and best customer care!
Linda from Whitehouse Inn called me on Thursday and asked if everything was still OK and that she would also provide dinner, had the most delicious farm food on Friday and Saturday night.
We were kindly welcomed and we had fun swimming, barbecuing and just relaxing.
Would definitely recommend the Whitehouse Inn. We had a great stay and the owners are very friendly and helpful.
The disturbing uproar coming from a nearby informal settlement raged right through the night. (Maybe an end of the month and Easter weekend thing?).
New owner, Bryen. So he still wants to change things. Place ok for fishermen, but lacks a little attention for people who just want to come and rest like us. Would like to recommend that a TV be put in the room. Maybe a 2 plate stove. He's very friendly. Try to make yourself comfortable. Our power plug went and he wanted to move us to another room but we stayed where we were because luckily there was power in the other room. The biggest problem for us was we didn't know when there was loadshedding. And if there is loadshedding there is no water. Such a loadshedding time program will work fantastically so you can work around it. And then a few solar lights in each room would be very good. Because it can get very dark with loadshedding. Otherwise, our visit was very nice and no one bothered us. And if you were looking for something Bryen was only too willing to help. We will stay there again.
It was very nice and neat.
We wanted a simple overnight stay for a function we attended nearby. The Whitehouse Inn turned out to be perfect. We were heartily welcomed and made to feel at home. We will certainly stay there again if the opportunity arises.
It was very neat and convenient for an overnight stay to go competition fishing the next day. Friendly service and was able to help us with everything we needed.
Very cute rooms, comfortable and tidy. Nice private hangout on the stoep. Nice view of the dam.
Only issue I had was no hot water on Sunday morning at 05h00, the water was lukewarm at best.
Aunt Linda was very friendly and helpful. We squinted at the view before us until the morning hours. And woof just wanted to play. It's a very peaceful atmosphere, you go there to rest and switch off from everything. We will go back again and again.

Comfortable, clean and tidy. My wife and I really appreciated Linda's concern and personal attention.
