The indoor dining area has a wood braai and a yellowwood bar with under-the-counter fridges and an ice machine. The wood-fired pizza oven is situated outdoors and is undercover. The lodge also features a boma nestled between the poplar trees; wood and firelighters are provided for the braai, fireplace, pizza oven and boma.

Wildehondekloof is neatly hidden between the most beautiful mountains and gorges. We haven't felt so close to nature in a long time. Time passed so slowly and peacefully that our family could rest in each other's company. Truly a beautiful place.
Will come again and again to get away from city and the 4 days felt like a week. Soup and fresh bread was a winner.
We had a lovely time.
Next when I book lodge please tell me how far is it from town, I know lodge is very far but Wildehondekloof, it's too far. We drove an hour to a gravel road.
It was our first time in Oudtshoorn and we were lucky enough to pick a beautiful place like Wildehondekloof. The accommodation is as beautiful and the setting amazing. We hiked and road mountain bikes and relaxed by the pool. The staff were great and we enjoyed our meals at the lodge.
Paula (Owner's wife) went out of her way to assist with touring the area and is very knowledgeable.
