The cottage has its own private entrance and patio overlooking the Simonsberg Mountains, as well as a game camp with zebra, wildebeest and springbok.
The spacious bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin and a toilet. The open-plan kitchenette contains a microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. On arrival filter coffee, tea, milk, sugar, biscuits, and filter water will be provided.
All bedding and linen is provided as well as complimentary toiletries.

Place needs a braai.
Wildlife Retreat is centrally located. They have a peaceful atmosphere, view and farm is beautiful.
Incredible view of the springboks and zebras, everything one could need for a weekend away. Wine tasting room is a stone's throw away and has delicious wines. Would highly recommend the cute place.
We had a lovely stay at the Wildlife Retreat. Beautiful location with views across the meadows with Wildebeest, zebra and springbok grazing. Really stunning. Room was immaculate. Thank you!
Very neat and functional unit. Close to Stellenbosch on a wine farm (what a bonus). Beautiful view over the mountains and grasslands, with zebra and springbok on the doorstep. Ideal place to recharge batteries with a glass of wine ... or two. Excellent service from Rob and Helet. Thank you!
Feel free to purchase a braai seeing that it is self-catering.
We really enjoyed our few days here. It is a peaceful spot with a view of the springboks and zebras that graze in front of the spot, with the vineyards part of the picture. The unit is very comfortable and tastefully furnished, extremely tidy and Helet was friendly and helpful. It is also well located for exploring the surrounding area.
We will definitely go back. Feel like you are in heaven.

The view and the incredibly beautiful room were the pinnacle of our first visit to Stellenbosch and our mini honeymoon! The room is absolutely stunning and such a cute hub for everything we did! Thanks for the hospitality and all the effort in the room! Would stay there again anytime!
We stayed here for 2 nights. The view is beautiful with trees, mountains and of course the wildlife. Although the weather didn't cooperate so that we can sit on the porch all the time, the view from the bed is just as beautiful. The accommodation is well equipped, a cloth at the kitchen sink would be welcome. Helet was not there, but checked in regularly via Whatsapp.
Needs better directions to cottage and notice boards.
Stay was very pleasant. Staff very friendly. View of goats added to peaceful environment. Close to Stellenbosch and wine routes. Place of accommodation neat and clean. Directions to get there helped a lot.

Had the most wonderful 5 day stay at Wildlife retreat. Cottage very well appointed and was perfect for our stay. To wake up in the morning with zebra, springbok & wildebees at our doorstep was just awesome. The wine tasting of the wonderful wines and craft beer on the farm at Remhoogte was very special. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Peaceful & beautiful. Will return for sure.

Very neat, clean and equipped elegantly. Even equipped with filter coffee and a cup of milk in the fridge upon arrival. Good value for money! Beautiful and tranquil view form the porch over the game camp.

It was the perfect stopover between Klapmuts and Stellenbosch. After a busy day it was lovely to be greeted by the zebras, black wildebeest and springbok. It was a privilege to walk with the dogs among the Remhoogte grape orchards in the morning.
