Host and wife are very pleasant. Beautiful surroundings. Wilgenhof Kothuis is very centrally located to explore the area.
Lots of attention to detail with everything you could think of. Very clean and neat. Fresh farm milk in our fridge with rusks. One double bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Braai facilities with wood and charcoal. All in all a very pleasant stay - would highly recommend this accommodation - very good value for money.
The farm is ideally located just outside Heidelberg. The host couple is very supportive, incredibly hospitable with fresh farm milk in the fridge, delicious Turkish figs and when I mentioned we wanted to barbecue, wood, firelighter and necessities were provided immediately, beyond expectation.
We once again had a great time in the cottage. The cow's milk and delicious biscuits were an extra treat. Everything needed is there. Beautiful surroundings.
We only stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage is well furnished, and has everything one needs. The location is beautiful and safe. It is very good value for money. Maretha welcomed us kindly and showed us around nicely.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at Wilgenhof Kothuis with lovely and warm hosts.
We had a pleasant stay at Wilgenhof Kothuis. Host was very friendly and helpful. Tessa (the Lab) is super friendly and just wanted all the love in the world (we were more than willing to give it). The stovetop didn't work properly and 2 of the faucets were loose but these are easy things to address and fix. The Kothuis is large, the rusks are good and the fresh milk was a big extra.
We were privileged to be able to stay two nights in the cottage of Maretha and Kobus. They received us with such hospitality and felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside. It was nice to be able to experience the farm atmosphere. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and surroundings. The fresh farm milk and biscuits were a great treat. A visit to this cottage is definitely worth it. See you again soon.
The cottage is fully equipped and very clean and cosy. Having coffee, with fresh farm milk and homemade rusks supplied, overlooking stunning views of well managed gardens and cattle happily crazing in the field was a lovely experience. Friendly and helpful hosts always willing to go the extra mile. Pity it was a short stay, but we'll definitely be back! Definitely highly recommended!

Clean and tidy with everything you need. We just slept over, so only spent a few hours there.

Maretha is a wonderful hostess, who met us with an earlier check-in time, and spoiled us with delicious biscuits and fresh farm milk. Their friendly Labrador immediately came to say hello, and we had a lovely stay on the farm just a stone's throw outside of town, even if it was just for one night.
Well equipped unit, perfect for young children. Situated on a dairy farm, so for us, it was an educational stay for one night while on our way from Cape Town to St Francis Bay. Owners are very friendly and helpful.
