The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional, they immediately made us feel at home as part of the family. Friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and peaceful. Even though you are in George, you didn't hear the noise of the traffic or people - we were able to rest and relax. Secure, covered parking was also appreciated.

The guest house is the ideal place to spend the night. It is in a quiet area and close enough to the George Mall and the airport. The host personally received us and greeted us when we left. It was nice to know that he would be available all the time if we needed help.

It has 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds). A TV is in the room with the 2 single beds. It has a small coffee area. Parking is behind a strong car gate. We had a great time staying here!

Dick gave us a small gas stove to boil eggs. He even offered us to use his firewood. When we cracked the braai, it was no problem with Dick.

There is no kitchen basin or kitchen tap with water, gusets are told to place their dishes in a bucket and let the owners wash up in the main house. This was totally unexpected for guest accommodation, as we didn't pay for a rural kitchenless stay.

This was the perfect accommodation for our trip. We didn't need bells and whistles, simply a clean bed in a convenient location. Situated less than 2km from Outeniqua Park rugby stadium so it was ideal. Dick, the host, was a sweetheart!
Dick and Jeanette really went out of their way to make us feel at home and even let us in early due to car problems. The cottage was clean and tidy. The internet worked well. There was an emergency light for power outages. They really make an effort to get everything right for their guests. Their genuine kindness, helpfulness and care for people was visible in their words and actions. I would stay there again anytime.

Excellent spot. Only minor inconvenience is that there is no kitchen, only a microwave and a kettle. You need to plan your meals around that if it's raining and you can't braai.

Our hosts, Dick and Janette, were very warm and inviting upon our arrival. They gave my wife a tour and explained in detail of how the set up works. The cottage is very spacious and reminded us of our home away from home. Our stay was very pleasant and would recommend Willow Cottage to all my friends and family.
As this is a self-catering option, I would suggest that adding a hotplate (or a small induction stove/gas stove) and some cooking utensils may be considered as an addition to the current facilities in the kitchenette. However, Dick and Jeanette are the most welcoming and caring hosts and I am sure that such items would have been made available, should I have required this during my stay.

Friendly owners! Me, my husband and 12-year-old child slept really well in this neat, clean little apartment. Everything was on hand for a quick breakfast in the morning before we headed to the tennis courts. The lack of a television didn't bother anyone, WiFi was enough to keep kids busy. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice place to stay. No complaints, it's very neat and private and safe. Only recommendation is that a TV can be added. We were pleasantly surprised with a chocolate and a bottle of wine in the fridge.
The facilities were indeed very small but ideal for overnight stays only. The owners were incredibly friendly and made an extra effort to make me and my children feel at home.
