The adjacent living area features a wood-burning fireplace. 2 TV's with full DStv channels. The living area has doors that open to a private patio, which has an outdoor table with seating and 2 loungers. There are 2 heaters for guests for cold winter days.
The property is ideal for outdoor sports such as hiking and mountain biking as its within 5 mins walk to a private gate into the magnificent Newlands Forest. Within close proximity to shops, restaurants, theaters and movies. Willow Cottage is also situated close to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, on the base of Table Mountain, Cape Town University, and excellent wine farms in the Constantia area, to name but a few attractions within a 10 to 20 km radius.

Basically staying at the foot of Table Mountain was a first for us, but definitely not the last time. We will definitely visit Willow Cottage again. Stylish, comfortable and clean.
The cottage is very nicely designed and we had such a nice stay. You have your own garage and even though it is next to the main house, it is completely private. Kitchen is fully equipped and there are many restaurants in the area that deliver as well. I appreciated small details like nice soaps in the bathroom and spices and olive oil in the kitchen, as well as the Nespresso machine and lots of books. It's very close to Kirstenbosch and the Newlands forest, in a beautiful area with the most beautiful trees. Wendy and her husband were excellent hosts, there was a problem with our DStv and she went out of her way to fix it. Can't wait to stay there again!
The cottage was extremely comfortable and well fitted out. The host went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Lovely setting in a beautiful garden and very private. Would definitely stay there again.
