The host is an excellent hostess. She provided all relevant info (amenities, etc.) well in advance. We received a warm welcome upon our arrival. The cottage is beautiful and clean; the kitchen is fully furnished. The hosts have definitely added their personal touch to the cottage. My tween kids fell in love with the cottage, as did the parents. It's a home away from home. I will most definitely recommend Windmeul Huis to family and friends!

This unit is amazing and so is the hospitality. It is part of one of the most beautiful houses on Jakobsbaai with beautiful views over the whole village. Leonie is a fantastic host and makes you feel welcome even before you arrive. Don't even think twice about booking here.
Quiet place and environment. Well equipped, nice porch sitting, nice surroundings. Animal friendly and well suited for walking. Was like a home away from home. Next time we go for longer. Have fun.

We were kindly received by the dog children and Leonie. The house is comfortable and has all the necessary facilities. The children could keep themselves busy with the WiFi, Netflix, etc. and we as parents made use of the lovely visit to the stoep and barbecue. The beds were lovely to sleep on and we had the bath which was a plus. Shower is wonderfully large.

I would recommend anyone to stay at the Windmill House. The owners are incredibly friendly, very helpful and there is everything and more you will need. The location is fantastic. We will definitely stay there again.

Windmeul Huis is a gem in Jacobs Bay. Even my waffles got treats.
We had a wonderful stay in this well-equipped accommodation. Very friendly host and hostess. We lacked nothing. Really enjoyed the indoor fireplace and full DStv package. Having a good time on the stoep at the outdoor barbecue. Walking distance from our favorite walking path all along the coastline. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend. Bonus is that it is one of the few places in Jacobs Bay that accommodates dog children with prior permission. Next time we will definitely bring our four-legged children. Thank you very much.
Place is very well equipped. Clean and tidy with a comfortable braai area.
We were kindly received by Leonie. She showed us the apartment and gave us details about use of switches and electronic facilities highlighted. There was enough of everything to make us feel comfortable. The beds in the bedrooms are of high quality and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is also plenty of comfortable seating around the TV and also outside on the veranda. The children enjoyed freedom of movement in the small garden. Everything is beautifully taken care of.
