It was very cold and we were pleasantly surprised and grateful for a warm cottage and welcoming staff. I loved all the gentle amenities that made our stay extra special; a heater in the bathroom, sherry, beer bread and extra sofa throws. It was a pleasure to cook in a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage is very well maintained and tasteful. The bed was super comfy and the cottage always felt very warm. Windrush on Hogsback is further up the mountain and away from the village and so worth it for the stillness it offers. Thank you for a lovely stay. The gentle amenities that made us feel extra special; a heater in the bathroom, sherry, beer bread that we made, sofa blankets and a very cozy bed. Thank you for a very scenic and well-maintained property/cottage. It was a pleasure to cook in such a well-equipped kitchen. Windrush on Hogsback is a little further up the mountain, away from the village but worth it for the stillness.
A very nice sized cottage set in a large and beautiful garden. It was spotlessly clean and fitted with all we needed. The bed was especially comfortable.
The yard felt secure and very peaceful. Beautiful location as long as you are happy to do a short drive to town and activities.
Such a lovely place! Fantastic cottage with all you need and stunning garden views, including a deck down by the pond, perfect for watching the stars at night. Lots of big trees, even had a little picnic under one. Comfy, relaxing stay, great for a couple.
Very pleasant few days in nature in comfortable clean accommodation with life-saving wooden duster next to your bed! Friendly staff always available.
What a relief to discover the absolute gem after the long dirt road. The accommodation is more than we expected. An open plan area that has been tastefully laid out. From the bedding to the kitchenware is good quality. The biggest cremation is the beer bread ingredients that are ready to be baked. I received and followed the instructions via WhatsApp. It was a winner with our barbecue! 2 nights is definitely not enough, because the area offers so much!
