There are a variety of activities on the farm to enjoy, such as picnics, walks or drives in the veld, climbing the mountains, bird watching, and stargazing,

Very neat. Private. Karoo evening at its best: barbecue fire, silence, stars, excellent location, warm and friendly people.
Windsor is a lovely place to stay. We really appreciated all the little extras, for example milk, biscuits, a bowl of dried sausages and even a container of ready-made ice cubes. Thank you for the pleasant stay which we will definitely use again.
It was a relief after a week in the Kalahari. Especially appreciated the call when I was still on the road somewhat after dark.

Very friendly reception! Sleeping is comfortable. Beautiful star sight! Nameplate could be bigger, was hard to read, we drove past first. Shower and toilets do not have doors on them and the shower's water pressure was low. We enjoyed the privacy and peaceful atmosphere. After a long day's travel it was just the place to come and rest.
The toilet not private enough. Shower needs a container in which to place own soap/hair cream to be able to shower more easily. Shower needs a mat - currently you get out of the shower and step on raw cement floor.
Host and hostess were not prepared even though the reservation was made on the same day as the arrival. Power was not switched on and therefore neither a cold fridge nor hot water was immediately available. At the main house, many precautions were taken for security. However, the self-catering unit has no security precautions. Windsor is located approximately 400 meters from the main road and vehicle noise is audible. We were uncomfortable with the obvious difference.
Very tidy, and a nice peaceful farm atmosphere. Ideal for an overnight stop.
It was a great place to stopover on our way from Cape Town to Botswana. It was comfortable and had everything one could possibly need including firewood and a grid for our evening braai. Even had a horse and geese nearby to keep the kids entertained. We loved the little extras, biltong to snack on while the fire was going and rusks to go with the early cup of tea before we hit the road again. We will definitely stop there again on our next road trip north.
Very good location to sleep over, it was the most beautiful starry sky in the evening and the coffee was a big plus. Good service and friendly reception.
We arrived in the afternoon and relaxed and enjoyed the Karoo sunset. Nice braai and slept wonderfully. Next morning we took a long walk on the farm road. Good location for us to take a breath on our trip to Cape Town.
Windsor Guest House is excellently located, on the N12 but far enough that the road noise does not bother you. The accommodation is clean and tidy and is equipped with everything that is needed. There was a large bag of wood provided for our use. We would definitely stay at Windsor Guest House again.
