We really enjoyed Winton! Nice, clean and with a lot of character. Hospitable people who just packed the fire for us and put fresh milk in the fridge. Thank you very much, we will definitely come again and stay longer.

Dead quiet, nice and warm!
My two Scotties and I had a really nice stay at Winton. The house was well equipped and very tidy. The braai area was a treat and we sat and relaxed in front of the fire for hours listening to the night sounds! The stars were amazing! Koos and Susan are also very friendly and helpful! I forgot my car's lights on and couldn't even unlock my car at all, but they helped me quickly. And learned a few tricks! I definitely recommend Winton!
Had a good barbecue and spent time with the children in the field.
One can hardly believe what the Van Zyls managed in this remote location with a 100-year-old house. There is no pretense of luxury, but everything works as it should. The exterior looks original, but inside it is spacious and surprisingly modern, with the amenities a visitor to the Kalahari needs. Can't recommend it highly enough.
