The living area features a kitchenette equipped with a gas hob and stove, a fridge, and a microwave. and cutlery and crockery. Adjacent to the kitchen is a 6-seater dinning table. The lounge area has ample seating and a fireplace, the perfect space for cozy evenings.
Through the sliding doors is a covered patio with outdoor furniture and a braai area, perfect for sundowners whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery. Guests have access to a wood-fired hot tub in the garden area.

Loved our stay on the farm. It was great exploring all the fynbos trails and swimming in the dam. The dogs thought that they were in heaven!
Neat and well maintained unit with everything needed. The treat with freshly ground coffee, homemade firestarters and the kolkol was a bonus. Beautiful surroundings.
We had an awesome stay with everything we needed. Buchu Cottage is surrounded by peace and quiet, birds chirping away and lovely walks. The cottage has a lovely stoep to laze around and for enjoying an afternoon braai with friends.
What a lovely break! Simple accommodation with everything you need - hot tub, indoor fireplace, and braai in the amazing Fynbos trail area. Just what we needed and super friendly owners, doing some incredible work in the area.
It was incredibly fun. Restful. And load shedding was not a problem at all. Very well furnished.
Peace and quiet. Sounds and smells of nature. Lovely walks. Well equipped. Would love to have been able to stay longer.
We wanted to get away as a family for a weekend and came across Witkrans. It's deliciously blissful, close to nature and just wonderful to be on a farm in the mountains. Ian was very helpful. Cute detailed walking routes that the children really enjoyed!
Various trails through fynbos, from short and easy to longer and more demanding. Lovely big verandah with braai for informal dining.
On the porch (which can be closed if it rains), by the fire pit under the stars or get into the warm wood fire hot tub to end the day. There are also wonderful hiking trails to appreciate the fynbos.
It was truly superb and surpassed expectations. Would definitely return.
Stunning place in nature with nice places to explore in the area, or you can just on the patio and read. The house is well equipped and the visits from Shadow, the sheep dog, made it special. Everything is well equipped and comfortable. In my book a bathroom with a view is always a winner.
