We had such a nice time on the guest farm. The peace and quiet was wonderful for us. Tienie made a lot of effort to make everything comfortable for us and was always available. The boys really enjoyed the fishing and we enjoyed the walk. It's a beautiful farm.
I would definitely recommend and even book my family again.
I would have appreciated a flat sheet on the bed as well. A duvet is to warm this time of the year.

The unit was great, the shower may need modernisation. The solar backup did help.
The cottages were better than expected and we enjoyed our days out. The only problem that may need to be addressed is the sliding doors of cottages 2 and 3. If you close the door a little too hard, the door closes itself. I think the "latch" is a bit loose. Other than that, everything was fantastic.
Very nice stay and the service was very good. Perhaps there could have been only a single-plate gas stove for coffee during loadshedding. Many other guesthouses have this provision.

Grandchildren enjoyed the farm animals, rode the place flat with their bikes, while the adults could relax together on the stoep. It was a wonderful weekend!
Comfortable, well-equipped cottages. Good base to explore Tulbagh, Ceres and surroundings.
The accommodation is on a working farm at the foot of a mountain. The units are neat, clean and contain everything one needs for a peaceful weekend break. Each unit has a nice large veranda with a built-in braai and a wonderful view of the field and mountains. There is not really mobile signal, but there is WiFi available with a good connection speed. The customer service was excellent and the owner was reachable at all times. We have received a snow update and forecast! Our weekend at Witzenberg Guest Farm was perfect and we will definitely be back!
A getaway weekend with friends and children could hardly be held in a better environment. Neat cottages and facilities that we would definitely recommend.

The house was very neat and clean. Very nice barbecue and hanging out with each other. Just what we wanted. Nice horse riding near the farm through the forest. Definitely recommend.
The setting was absolutely beautiful even in winter. The peacefulness of the environment allowed me to relax. The farm is close enough to do things away from the farm if and when you wanted to do it. The staff on the farm are friendly and helpful. Thank you.
We had a good experience at the Guest Farm.
Would like to know more about the area as there is an indication of walking routes, but no marked place and no one in the area knows where it is. Information on arrival or even an information sheet in room will help a lot. It's also located on a farm atmosphere, but no one is sure where you can and can't be.
The place was pleasant the only concerns we had was the bee trying to make a nest in the crevices in the roof void. Very quite and nice to rest. They found a Pofadder snake 2 chalets away from us, this is a huge risk factor which necessitates urgent action.
Beautiful views and nature and farm scenery. Clean and practical furnishings with everything you need. Very friendly help and service in advance, as well as on arrival and during stay. Excellent facilities and surroundings for a large family gathering.
The chalets where we stayed were very nice and clean and the service we received from the manager, Tienie, was fantastic. The view is very beautiful. Will go back again.

We really had a great time with our friends. We booked 2 houses for 2 nights and will definitely book it again. The houses are spacious, clean and neat and great value for money. Also close to the Cape, Wolseley and Tulbagh, and all the stunning wine farms in the area.
The cleanliness of the unit was below average, wine glasses just rinsed in water, fatty sticky finger all over them, drawers dirty, freezer section of fridge not clean, in the bathroom a long black hair was stuck against the wall, shelf had finger prints on.
Witzenberg Guest Farm is a very peaceful and scenic place. I will recommend it to friends and family. More facilities could be acquired on the farm to keep the children busy, such as a swimming pool because it gets quite hot there and the ponds are a bit unsafe to swim in.
