Stay was pleasant and enjoyable, we did not spend much time there. Only negative was that we came home 1 night with loadshedding and there was no lighting. We understand loadshedding is everywhere and had no problem with the candles we had to use, but the fact that we could not see at all from the gate to the loft's stairs was difficult and perhaps not acceptable to the guest house. It's a strange place and you can't see what's going on around you at all. Apart from this, our stay was very nice.

Was a good experience with comfortable space and all necessary amenities to get by. Any problems reported were quickly dealt with by the owner. Owner was available regularly to make sure everything was ok.

I would suggest that the management at Wolwedans completely cover or seal the bathroom floor and roof sections. I was scared by 2 large spiders inside the house. Then finally if the sleeping place can at least get an ironing board and board, then I believe everything will be 100%. Nice place and value for money.

We stayed in the loft. It suited us very well. We had plenty of privacy and the kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. The neighbourhood is quiet and we felt relaxed and slept well. The proximity of Pick n Pay was a bonus. I shall definitely use Wolwedans again if I need accommodation in that area.
We had a very friendly reception on our arrival. We had a wonderful stay in the luxury safari tent and it was equipped with everything we needed for our stay as well as Wi-Fi. The view was stunning from the top. Will definitely recommend a stay in the safari tent.

Went the extra mile when we unexpectedly had to take our two children with us and accommodated us with open arms. Thank you very much for beautiful, clean living units and also for taking the trouble to ask if we want a barbecue on the first night. Beautiful, clean and peaceful environment. The attic room is unique and an experience. For tall people like me my daughter the small door was a challenge not to bump our heads, but the quality of the mattresses, bedding and air conditioning was good, very clean and tidy unit and bathroom, made everything worthwhile and was a special experience. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious & everything was so beautifully prepared. We would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately they were already fully booked. I would definitely recommend it, but please remember the small door. but please don't let that put you off. We had a wonderful stay.

Just what you expect from country hospitality. We stayed in the safari tent and we were 3 people. Comfortable and the facilities were clean and tidy. We are used to camping so the outside toilet and shower didn't bother us at all. The staff on duty were professional and extremely helpful! It was definitely value for money and we will visit the place again.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful 160 year old house. It is very neat and clean, and beautifully restored. Reception was very friendly and we immediately felt at home. The location is very good and close enough to restaurants and other tourist attractions. We will definitely stay at Wolwedans again.

The loft room was beautifully furnished. Very tidy, also WiFi. We had our own private kitchen and living room. As well as braai facilities near the swimming pool. This is definitely a winner!

Just far enough off the noisy N2 to be the perfect overnight stop. It is equally perfect for a longer stay if you’d like to explore the ocean or the mountains or both. The rooms provide you with everything you need and then some.

The Flashie tent was very nice to stay in. Comfortable and beautiful vintage furniture. The private braai area and wooden deck were very nice to enjoy meals and sundowners. Unfortunately, the horribly busy street that runs in front of the place is a "deal breaker" for us. The idea was peace and quiet with our getaway, but unfortunately it was so bad, we decided to leave halfway through the weekend. There was more noise than in our own area in Cape Town. This proved once again that the location of a property is very important.

The accommodation was neat and clean, maybe it will be difficult for older people, as the stairs to the loft section where we stayed were very steep. The accommodation is located on a main road which made it very noisy in the late afternoon and early morning.
Accommodation was nice except for the toilet facilities. Long drop in today's lifestyle? No it wasn't nice at all and it's unhygienic for me and it stinks!

Incredibly beautiful and neat farmhouse. Very comfortable with great outdoor facilities, outdoor lounging area was one of the highlights. The Cottage we stayed in was incredibly "cozy" and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed the stay. The owner and her staff are more than helpful and definitely went the extra mile for us. Breakfast was from the upper seats. The friendliness of guest house staff, cleanliness, feeling like your own, will always have a great appeal. Shops nearby and also other towns nearby.
There is a difference between hennie bow and safari tents. What needs to be advertised is a rustic atmosphere. Open shower is acceptable when it is not shared with strangers. The people there like to part till early in the morning and it is disturbing.
I am a solo traveller and spent two nights at Wolwedans Accommodation. I received a warm welcome by the owner, Jacques and his wife upon arrival and they showed me all of the facilities. As a solo traveller I booked the backpacker loft room. The loft is very private with a nice atmosphere. There are other en-suite rooms, a cottage and safari tents with their own braai area for bigger groups. There was deck that overlooks the swimming pool and area, well-equipped with a big fridge, gas stove, DStv, comfortable couches and a gas fireplace. Perfect to cook outside and relax. The deck is equipped with cooking equipment, cutlery and a place to wash up. There is WiFi as well. The owners' friendly Labrador and two other dogs were good company on my short visit to Wolwedans. I can recommend Wolwedans accommodation, good memories and value for money.
Would not recommend the tent homes for people who don't like camping. However, for us it was very nice.
Wolwedans Accommodation is very neat. Our accommodation was in the roof, very interesting. The combined lounge/dining room and kitchen on the covered veranda met our needs. Lay out of accommodation in tents with braai and lounge areas was done cleverly. Wolwedans Accommodation is good value for money.
