The main problem with the place is terrible urine smell coming from the toilets. I had to buy a detergent to clean both toilets as the smell was very bad. The garden is beautiful and the whole place is cool except loading which also affect guests.
Very friendly reception and service at the restaurant. The family room we stayed in was clean and tidy, but needs some attention to some of the furniture and doors. Otherwise we really enjoyed everything.
Gravel road to the place, no hot water, no extra activities.
The rooms were full of spiderwebs. Broken toilet seat. Dirty coffee cups. Most light bulbs need replacing. No game drives, tiger, lion or animals roaming around as advertised. No DStv. No ice at the restaurant. This is not a 4 star hotel. Very run down. Property not maintained.
From the reception, room service, food and extra activities, everything was perfect. Everyone is friendly and the environment is friendly and lovely. If you love nature, then Woodridge is the perfect destination.
The customer service there is of a high standard. The owner is a blessing. That man can make you feel at home.
We appreciated the hospitality. Big ups to Stephan, Emmanuel and the chef. You all made us feel at home. Worth coming back. The spa ladies were also very welcoming. No complaints at all.
We enjoyed our stay very much. So much effort is made to make sure one's stay is comfortable. The restaurant has the best food. We would love to go again.

I would recommend this hotel with absolute certainty. What an excellent getaway for a much needed break. Stephan was a fantastic host and his staff were most obliging. Facilities were excellent and I cannot wait to go back again.
I really did enjoy my stay at Woodridge Palm. The food was amazing and the place looked so clean and neat.
There were a couple of things that weren't right. The safe didn't work, sliding door couldn't lock, upon arrival we had to get batteries for the air-cons remote, fridge wasn't in the room, spider webs in the corners of the frames, cover of the light in the room that is supposed to cover the wires was loose, the curtain at the sliding door was ripped, etc. I took a couple of photos. Not what I expected from a 4-star establishment. I have seen better 3-star establishments.
This was a fantastic place where you could relax and enjoy the peace and fresh air. The host and staff where amazing!
Fresh environment, mind refreshing if you are a city person and a place to been more adventurous.

The perfect romantic getaway with complete peace and quiet in a little piece of unspoilt nature. The service was excellent and all the staff very friendly and helpful. We are planning another weekend to Woodridge Palms within the next few weeks.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities extremely neat and clean. Lovely pool. Food delicious and beer was ice cold on a hot day. Will definitely visit the place again if I'm in that area. Scenery and horses were bonus.
It was a nice escape from the city. It can get boring if you don't go horse riding or mountain biking because it was too cold to swim. A day or two's stay is ideal, not longer.
